Hello Fellow CBM Users:
Jack Nicholson, Aarron Eckhart, William Dafoe, Alfred Malonia, Liam Nesson, Tom Hardy, Michael Shannon, and Heath Ledger. What do all these actors have in common, bedsides that their all amazing actors, they all played amazing Comic book movie villains, and on today's article I will talk about which actors I would love to see to play a comic book movie villain. Lets get started!!
5) Lupita Nyongo: Lupita Nyongo is simply an amazing actress and she has already become an A-lister with just one performance in 12 years a slave and she has an oscar, I mean this woman is killing it right now. She already has a major role in Star Wars 7 which is rumored to be a villain, so what better way to really prove herself then to play a villain in a major CBM. Recently I did an article on which villains I wanted in the DCCU and one of them was wonder woman's arch enemy cheetah and I think Nyongo would make a fantastic Choice. To be honest though she could play any female villain in the DCCU or marvel universe and I wouldnt care, maybe she could play circe, posion ivy, harley quinn, livewire, star sapphire, madam hydra, enchantress..etc. I really don't care which character but I would love to see her trading blows with a justice leaguer or an avenger.
4) Matthew Mcconaughey: He's THE actor right now, dallas buyers club, true detective, interstellar. I mean this guy is everywhere and maybe next time we see him, he'll be in CBM. As for which villain Mccounaughey could play is a tough choice but I've always thought Deathstroke would be an interesting choice. Mcconaughey was one of my top choices for lex luthor, but with that already taken, another A-list villain who might fit him well is The Joker. We all know the next joker has to be a lot different then heath ledgers version and maybe a texan joker could be the trick.
3) Cate Blanchett: I know what your thinking, are we going with all these year's oscar winners, but i assure you we are not. Cate Blanchett is simply put one of the best actors working today and of the best actors off all time, and there's has been one vilain I've wanted Blanchett to play and thats the Enchantress. Many people are begging Charlize Theron to play her and I would be completely fine with that but we've already seen Theron play the evil witch in Snow White and the Huntsmen and I would Love to see Blanchett play bad in a marvel movie
2) Ryan Gosling: This one will never happen. Why, becuase gosling never takes these blockbusters roles. He was on a shortlist to play batman in the upcoming Bantman v Superman movie, but we all know that didn't happen. Gosling was always my pick for the next batman after christan bale and when i heard he could have gotten the part i was so excited but even more excting to me is the idea of Gosling taken on a villain role. again if gosling were to ever take a villain role it could be anyone: Joker, riddler, deathstroke, ares, deadshot, hush... but just to see Gosling fighting against a justice leaguer or an avengers would be amazing
1) The bat's brother Casey Affleck himself: I love Casey Affleck work so much and to see him fight his own brother would a very instersing thing to happen.There is one character that i want affleck to play and thats The Riddler. idk why but everytime i see affleck i always think "man he would make an awesome riddler". I don't know if his brother casting as batman helps his chances or hurts it, but the day little affleck is cast in a villain role in a marvel or DC movie is the day my dream has come true
