Ant-Man and the Wasp Film Ideas

Ant-Man and the Wasp Ideas that are totally useless but I enjoy them!

Lets just jump right into it.   Ant-Man was a huge success all things considered.  The film was a good enjoyable flick, and it made a lot of money for a movie called “Ant-Man”.  This film was bound to fail, it was in a development hole, and lost a director half way through.  Starred an actor who really wasn’t a good actor, just a funny guy.  Somehow this movie was a huge hit and actually earned a sequel.  So here are my totally useless and pointless ideas for how the second instalment should be handled.

First is the style of film.  The last movie was a heist style of movie, but Marvel has said that Ant-Man and the Wasp is going to have a different theme to it.  Here is my idea that is a little out of nowhere.  Make this movie in the style of the Bourne franchise. Now this doesn’t mean the film has to be the intense and dark style of film that Bourne is, although I wouldn’t be against it at all.  This movie is still Ant-Man, I think having the jokes and fun the last one had is still a good idea.  I am referring the the way that Bourne is always under attack, always on the defensive, and trying to figure out who is after him.  I’ll get into how this works in the film, but having almost a bread crumb trail to finding the villain of the film, while constantly being under attack is the way this film should be played out.

The first villain we should see is Crossfire.  This man should be taking on Ant-Man and the Wasp in the first scene of the film, the entry action sequence much like we saw in the Avengers: Age of Ultron.  Have the movie hit the ground running, see the Wasp in action and don’t have any messing around at the start.  This is the sequel and we don’t need to show how Wasp got the suit, it was already explained in the last film.  After taking him down they take him to a secret lair (for lack of a better word) with Hank Pym (and maybe Scotts buddies from the last film).  In this way I want this to be like Arrow or Flash where the Hero has set up shop in a place nobody knows and decides to start hero-ing.  Few things here, first Hank Pym has created the Big House.  The miniature prison designed for super villains, they shrink down to ant size and are put into cells inside the prison.  Crossfire is the first prisoner in this cell.  Next we see them find out who he is.

Crossfires Origin:  The find out he is the cousin of Darin Cross, William Cross, they where good friends growing up.  Darin Cross had designed the suit as a prototype giving him enhanced strength, agility, and so on. Also better aiming when it comes to shooting (kind of like Deadshots eye).  The question is how did he find the suit.

Now during this time, we see an attack from Voice.  Now Voice should have some changed powers, instead of being able to speak and have people believe him (Although this would be an interesting way to tie in Jessica Jones using DNA from Purple man), I want to see him have sonic rays much like Ulysses Klaw.  This makes him a good villain for Ant Man as you can’t dodge it like a bullet.  During this fight a second villain attacks them the Porcupine.  Why him? Well his suit gives him strength durability, but I like that he could have some form of razors on him, very small razors that make Ant Man and the Wasp unable to shrink and harm him.  Ant sized razors.  Giving us two villains that can actually threaten them.  After this fight that Ant-Man and Wasp win, we see them put the two of them in the Big House.  Again they do some research, find out Crossfire had a tracker on him, and they also find out the Voice (Jason Cragg) was employed at the People’s Defense Force.  This is a company known for building technology for the Military currently.  Again back to the research, they find out Elihas Starr (Egghead) is the CEO, they do some dirty work looking into him and find out that he worked with Intelligencia, linking him to Klaw who is a known villain.  This then leads to them wanting to capture him and find out what is going on.

Now we see Starr in his office reporting to someone we don’t see.  Also in the room is Nathan Garret, a genius engineer.  During this conversation we learn they are building the Emissaries of Evil and are trying to get the Ant-Man suit for Nathan to join the team.  Now for some exposition, Starr orders Garret to free the prisoners and take down the Ant-Man using his “Ebony Blade” he found in a grave.  Kind of treating it as a joke, Garret obviously thinks he has a legit mystical sword and goes out to take down Ant-Man.

The next portion has two things happening at once.  Ant-Man and the Wasp go after Starr, during which Garret attacks their base.  When they get to Starr they see the main villain of the film, MODOK with him.  We see they battle MODOK and can’t take him down, then they get Starr and run.  Donning the Black Knight suit, Garret attacks their hideout, and releases the prisoners.  During which his sword cuts through anything, and Hank uses some sort of energy gun on him that he deflects.  Proving his sword is legit.  Hank Pym barely escapes with his life.  Ant-Man and Wasp return and realize the prison needs to be upgraded. Hank says he is close to the Quantum Realm and he decides it is the way to keep the big house safe.  Now we see the setup for the final act.  Starr reveals a couple of ways to take down MODOK, who preps his team for a final assault on Ant-Man.  They find out A.I.M is behind the Peoples Defense Force, and Starr tells them where to find their headquarters.  Hank gets into the Quantum Realm, they place the prison and he also finds his wife (This can be a subplot throughout the film, it is a little cheesy to find her but let’s be honest after teasing it in the first film, we know they will find her eventually).

After the find out some way to take down MODOK (science and such), they go after them instead of waiting for them to attack their base again.  So the Final fight has:
Voice: Sonic attack that can’t be dodged.
Porcupine: Suit that can’t be attacked up close.
Crossfire: Can shoot anything even an ant.
Garret: Has a sword that deflect the Wasps energy pulses.
MODOK: Powerful in all ways.

Now the reason this is my idea, is we have a legit threat to the, each villain has a way to defeat them, and each villain or a threat.  This isn’t a team they can simply push over, and we aren’t going to have a secret way to defeat them that seems to be in every movie these days.  This is going to be a 2 on 5 attack that is going to come down to who gets lucky and who gets the right hits, much like in Avengers: Earth Mightiest Heroes often times.  It simply comes down to can they win the fight. They attack aim, maybe try and isolate the villains, eventually we see the fight and the victory on by the Heroes.  Finally, in the end we find out a little more about A.I.M, and the Villains are locked in the Big House.  Also Lang reaches out to Stark and gets some drones to act as guards for the Big House, seeing our first Villain Prison in the MCU.  MODOK can escape and continue on in the universe, or just not get captured.  This though really sets up A.I.M as a villain organization that is a threat.  We only saw them as being ran by Killian in Iron Man 3, and they where referenced as being evil in Agents of Shield season one.  Now they have established themselves as a technology based organization that is its own industry, not a parasite like HYDRA was/is.

Is the story over the top? Is it boring.  Let me know, but I just thought I would throw out my ideas here! Thanks for reading.

Head into the quantum verse to find Janet.

I am not sure who owns the rights to Psycho Man, probably fox, but I would love to him and his dimension. He found Janet in the quantum verse and has been holding her captive. Psycho Man in the end is truly trying to find a way out of the quantum verse to rule verses.
