Ben Affleck's The Batman: Fan casting the villains (Part 1)

Ben Affleck's The Batman: Fan casting the villains (Part 1)

I wonder if Warner Brothers and DC look up fan cast just so they can have an inside look on what the fans want. Anyways here's my Batman fan cast, Enjoy.

Fact: Many months ago I posted a similar fan cast on, Moviepilot.com, under my Anonymous G.H account. Check it out if you want to.

10. Nathan Jones - Bane

Out of all characters that Nathan could play, Bane would be my number one pick. I can imagine him in an awesome Bane costume throwing Ben Affleck's Batman around like a rag doll.

9. Billy Zane - Mr.Freeze

Billy would've been a great Lex Luthor. But since he's still available, maybe the role of Mr.Freeze would be a good fit. His performance on, Titanic, was one of his best.

8. Bryce Dallas Howard - Poison Ivy

If you think she's not a great actress I disagree. I don't think an actor or actress is bad because they wouldn't have became what they are if it wasn't for their talent. I think it's the director and bad script that makes an actor sucks. She'd be a great Ivy.

7. Matt Dillon - Black Mask

Matt is a really great actor. His looks, physicality and voice would really suit a live action Roman Sionis. I've only seen him play the good guy, but I can definitely see him play a bad one.

6. Matt Damon - Hush

Thomas Elliott also known as Hush was Bruce Wayne's childhood friend. Since Ben Affleck and Matt are real life long time friends, the rivalry between them as Bruce and Thomas would be really intense. If you're not sure about Matt playing a bad psychopath because he usually plays the hero, then click on this link and see if the video changes your mind: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EOHeLc7g6iI

5. Bryan Cranston - Hugo Strange

I'm pretty sure everyone knows who Bryan is. I first knew him from, Malcolm in the Middle. It's surprising because back then I would never have thought of him for the role of Hugo Strange. This just proves that some not well known actors might just have more potential in acting then some other more popular actors. But why Hugo Strange?, two words,...Breaking Bad.

4. Leonard DiCaprio - The Riddler

Leonardo is an excellent actor and has had some really good movies, Blood Diamond is my favorite. His role in the Wolf of Wall Street (confident, evil, deceiving) and Inception (intelligent) makes him my top pick for one of Batman's most smartest foes. Leo and Ben in a same superhero movie would be one hell of a movie.

3. John Goodman - The Penguin

John is another great actor. He's played the bad guy before and plays them well too, so he'd be a pretty big scary Cobblepot. John starred with Ben as his partner in, Argo, and the two worked fine together on screen. They could really work well again on screen, but this time as enemies.

2. Charlize Theron - Catwoman

Charlize is a great actress and she was awesome on, Mad Max: Fury Road. Way before 'The Dark Knight Rises' came out, Charlize said in an interview that she would really love to be part of that world as Catwoman, unfortunately that never happened. But hey, since we got a new Batman maybe we can finally see what Charlize would've been like as Catwoman, I bet it'll be a great casting decision.

1. Tom Hardy - Two Face

Ok I know what your saying, no because he's already been in the Nolan's batverse. At least he never took the mask of though, and he was bald, and did that voice and that accent. So playing Two Face, which is an entire new look and everything, people won't sit there and say it's Bane. There's a crime drama called, Legend, go watch it, it's Tom playing twin brothers each having their own personalities. A good reason why he's perfect for the role of Two Face.

Thanks for checking out this fan cast. I'll put up part 2 soon. Have a good one ay.

Awesome casting, if they pulled this off it would be the best villain rap sheet in cinema history.

Nice fancast with some good picks for each role.
Di Caprio needs to be in a comic role soon.

Only one I dislike is Nathan Jones for Bane, as Bane is mean to be a smart and calculating Villain and has managed to figure out Batman's secret identity.
Jones only plays mindless big brutes, even doing so in a Bollywood film recently.

@SimplyAz -yeah I know he usually plays a mindless character, but with a really good team behind the role of Bane, a great director, a great acting coach and a awesome plot, they could really give Nathan more. I'm sure he's got alot of potential. Thanks for liking my cast though

I really want Leo DiCaprio in a comic-book role, but I really don't want to hear him say Riddle me this Dark-Knight.
It sounds really weird picturing that in his voice

Great casting minus Nathan Jones. It's not so much the acting experience as it is the fact that it's white-washed. I'd prefer someone Central American at the very least.

Penguin looks like John Goodman in that pic. Well chosen. Fun stuff. Would rather see DiCaprio and Damon as good guys, but then I never would have imagined Heath Ledger as the Joker. I was really disappointed with that casting and then. . . .

- We may need someone Mexican to at least voice Bane. Nathan Jones as the performer, that I have no problem with.
- Bryce Dallas Howard doesn't strike me as the sultry type that's willing to wear minimal clothing.
- I rarely see Matt Dillion cast anymore. Great role here!
- I've seen Damon cast as Hush too many times. But as far as the DCEU goes, it's probably a necessity. And The Talented Mr. Ripley proved his ability to play evil.
- Truly refreshing to see Bryan Cranston not cast as Gordon.
- There's no way Leonardo DiCaprio will play second fiddle.
- John Goodman's role in Death Sentence also saw him play a guy who ran weapons, so I'm not against him that much as Penguin.
- Really have no problem who plays Catwoman alongside Ben Affleck's Batman.
- I'll be quiet on you using Tom Hardy as Two-Face. I'll keep certain opinions that'll get me crucified to myself.

This is an awesome fancast. I like a lot of your choices. Bryce Dallas Howard would be perfect as Poison Ivy and a good actress. I hope she gets the role. And Billy Zane as Mr Freeze is inspired casting he would be great. Can't wait for The Batman, and to see Ben as Batman again. Great work well done

Like I mentioned in another comment, I want Bane to be hispanic next time around.

I'd also much rather see Jon Hamm as Hush and Damon as Two-Face. If Hardy ever returns to a DC film, I'd want to see him in a role not related to Batman.

Goodman is too big for Penguin. He's not a physical villain, and a man of Goodman's size is definitely a physical threat.

DiCaprio is amazing, but he'd never be the Riddler. NPH or Walton Goggins would be my picks.

Theron? Maybe, but there are better choices out there. Olivia Wilde comes to mind.

@JaredRWebb12 - wow awesome suggestion, Leo as Two Face, Sean as Black Mask sounds perfect! I remember Sean Penn in a movie with Josh Brolin, whenever Sean's character gets mad it reminded me when Black Mask gets angry in 'Under the Hood' animated film. Thanks for checking out my fancast by the way :)

@red1994 - Gangster Squad was decent. And I definitely saw Black Mask in Penn's performance(when he wasn't overacting), and I'd also like to tip Ed Norton in as Riddler
