S Y N O P S I S
 
The GCPD are all that stands between order and chaos in Gotham City. It’s up to them to keep the world’s most dangerous criminals off the street, and also to clean up the mess left behind by Batman’s one-man war on crime.

ROSARIO DAWSON … RENEE MONTOYA
Renee Montoya is a detective working for the Gotham City Police Department underneath Commissioner Gordon who frequently allies herself with the vigilante Batman and his associates.
 
MIKE COLTER … CRISPUS ALLEN
Crispus Allen is a dedicated cop working in the Gotham City Police Department underneath Commissioner Gordon with Renee Montoya as his partner. His relationship with Gotham City's vigilante protector Batman is strained at best, and he struggles against the complicated legal nature of the situation.
 
RACHAEL TAYLOR … MAGGIE SAWYER
Maggie Sawyer is a police officer who, following a transfer from Metropolis, becomes a detective in the Gotham City Police Department.
 
CHARLIE COX … MARCUS DRIVER
Marcus Driver is a detective in Gotham City's Major Crimes Unit and is the last detective recruited to that department by Commissioner Gordon before his retirement. Driver's initial partnered is killed by Mister Freeze.
 
KRYSTEN RITTER … ROMY CHANDLER
Romy's test scores, athletic skills and her hand-to-hand combat as a black belt get her a detective position within the Major Crimes Unit at the Gotham City Police Department. She initially trained to become an FBI agent but as a cadet, she ultimately left the bureau due to the large amounts of paperwork required.
 
SIMONE MISSICK … JOSEPHINE MACDONALD
Josie MacDonald is a detective in Gotham City's Major Crimes Unit with a secret psychic talent for reading inanimate objects.
 
VONDIE CURTIS-HALL … JACKSON DAVIES
Sergeant Davies has been an officer for over 20 years in the GCPD. While the Sergeant, he is a down to earth person who can still be found reminiscing and joking with fellow officers.
 
SCOTT GLENN … NELSON CROWE
Crowe is partnered with Sergeant Jackson Davies and worked closely with him during the Washburn Pharmaceuticals Tetramethyl murders.
 
DEBORAH ANN WOLL … STACY
Stacy is a civilian administrator who works with the Gotham City Police Department's Major Crimes Unit.
 
MAHERSHALA ALI … MICHAEL AKINS
Michael Akins was a trusted member of the Gotham City Police Department, appointed as Chief of Police by James Gordon following his retirement.
 
JESSICA HENWICK … DAGMAR PROCJNOW
An officer in the Gotham City Police Department, who finds her relationship with her partner Tommy Burke rather strained, as she disapproves of many of his off-duty activities.
 
CARRIE-ANNE MOSS … DARIA HERNANDEZ
Daria Hernandez is Renee Montoya's girlfriend, she works as a chef at a restaurant called Xenon.
 
EKA DARVILLE … TOMMY BURKE
Detective Tommy Burke is the ladies' man of the Gotham City Police Department's Major Crimes Unit, he makes light of situations to cover up how uncomfortable he feels as one of the youngest members of the unit.
 
TOBEY LEONARD MORE … NATE PATTON
A detective in the Gotham City Police Department's Major Crimes Unit, partner of Romy Chandler. Patton has a habit of being abrasive by saying the wrong thing at the wrong time which caused friction within the Unit.
 
DAVID WENHAM … JIM CORRIGAN
Jim Corrigan was a corrupt detective working for the Gotham City Police Department and routinely abuses his position by selling crime scene memorabilia, such as bullets as well as more extravagant items lost by the city's colorful villains.
 
ELDEN HENSON … SIMON LIPPMAN
Simon Lippman is a reporter for the Gotham Gazette who follows the Major Crimes Unit often asking for scoops and tips, and vice versa, though he never revealed his source.
 
TONY CURRAN … RON PROBSON
As a Lieutenant in the Gotham City Police Department, Ron Probson was the commander of the Major Crimes Unit's second shift. He had a tense relationship with the first shift commander, Maggie Sawyer.
 
JESSICA STROUP … JOELY BARTLETT
A detective in the Gotham City Police Department's Major Crimes Unit, who is partnered by Vincent Del Arrazio. Joely Bartlett is known for having a keen eye for detail, despite her sloppy and messy apartment, and being one of the most attentive and observant members of the team
 
FRANK WHALEY … VINCENT DEL ARRAZIO
Vincent Del Arrazio is a well-respected officer in the Gotham City Police Department, where he holds the rank of Detective Sergeant. Partnered with Joely Bartlett, he works in the Major Crimes Unit, where he has been involved with many of the force's biggest investigations in recent times.
 
JACOB VARGAS … MANNY ESPERANZA
Manny Esperanza is an Inspector in Gotham City Police Department's Internal Affairs Division and is thus not one of the Department's most popular members. He is dedicated to his job and to the principal that no matter the circumstances, no police officer is above the law.
 
AYELET ZURER … ANGIE MOLINA
Angie Molina is a news reporter for Channel 10 who gets kidnapped by the Joker and is almost killed before she is being by Batman.
 
ERIN MORIARTY … NORA FIELDS
Nora Fields was the wife of Major Crimes Unit detective Charlie Fields, who was murdered by Gotham supervillain Mr. Freeze while on duty. Following his death, she frequently had dinner with her husband's partner, Marcus Driver.
 
MATT GERALD … VICTOR FRIES aka MISTER FREEZE
Following a horrible lab accident, he became dependent on sub-zero temperatures and committed crimes to fund his research. Losing touch with humanity over time, he eventually turns into a colder and more sadistic psychopath.
 
VINCENT D’ONOFRIO … OSWALD COBBLEPOT aka THE PENGUIN
Intelligent, rich and sophisticated; Oswald Cobblepot puts up a gentlemanly front, but behind closed doors, he is the angered, power hungry criminal known as The Penguin.
 
JON BERNTHAL … HARVEY DENT aka TWO-FACE
Formerly the D.A. of Gotham City, Harvey Dent was an ally of Batman and Commissioner Gordon until he had acid thrown onto the left side of his face by a mob boss, scarring him for life. The incident drove Harvey insane and he became Two-Face
 
DAVID TENNANT … JERVIS TETCH aka THE MAD HATTER
Psychotic and has an obsessive-compulsive disorder, Jervis Tetch uses mind-controlling devices as his weapons.
 
THEO ROSSI … JAY HUSKEY aka FIREBUG
The Firebug wears an insulated costume containing hidden tanks of a concentrated napalm derivative that he is able to project from hidden openings in the fingertips of his gloves.

BOB GUNTON … MAYOR DAVID HULL
Deputy Mayor under Dickerson, and became mayor after his assassination.

  • In the Line of Duty
    Marcus Driver's partner Charlie is killed by Mr. Freeze while the pair are investigating a lead, making the MCU (Major Crimes Unit) aware of a bigger plot by Freeze.

     
  • Motive
    The MCU investigate the late Charlie Fields' unsolved case, involving the murder of a teenage girl and the villain Firebug.

     
  • Half a Life
    Renee Montoya is outed at the station as a lesbian and finds her work environment and personal life turned upside down. The Batman villain Two-Face appears in this arc, having fallen in love with Montoya and kidnapped her.
  • Daydreams and Believers
    A story told from the point of view of MCU temp Stacy as she writes to her friend Meg about her life in the MCU.

     
  • Life is Full of Disappointments
    A murder investigation is passed between three different sets of detectives across the three issues, allowing a glimpse into the various lives of the detectives.

     
  • Unresolved
    An old murder case involving the Mad Hatter is reopened.

     
  • Corrigan
    Crispus Allen's job is threatened after corrupt Jim Corrigan removes evidence from a scene.

     
  • Lights Out
    At Akins' orders, the Bat-Signal is removed from Gotham Central which leads the MCU to further distrust Batman.

     
  • Nature
    A story told from the perspective of one of the many corrupt police officers of Gotham City.

     
  • Corrigan II
    Allen goes after the corrupt Jim Corrigan, only to be killed. Corrigan uses his connections and well-placed lies to get off clean, persuading a disgusted Montoya to leave the force.

This is a pretty good 'what if'. You found each MCUNF actor a very decent role on the 'opposite side of the fence'--though it is funny that D'Onofrio would be more of an EMPEROR Penguin, if you know what I mean. You must have partly taken some inspiration from a Cosmic Cube, I'm guessing.

@FlixMentallo21 - Actually, inspiration came from my frustration with FOX's Gotham which I just find really subpar aha. When they announced Gotham way back when I assumed they were drawing inspiration from Gotham Central, not the villain-of-the-week bull we ended up with. The conclusion I came to was "how good would it be if we got a Gotham Central TV series from the talent involved in Marvel / Netflix stuff?"

I'll give it a look see my friend, but I have very little knowledge of the material it's based on.
