Marvel is proud to announce that acclaimed actor Nicolas Cage has joined “Marvel’s Dr Strange,” upcoming phase 3 movie for the MCU. Best known for his critically-lauded work in “Leaving las Vegas” ", “National Treasure”, "Kick-ass" and “National Treasure 2,” Cage will play Dr Stephen Strange, a self-center and famous neurosurgeon who after a life changing event turns into the Sorcerer Supreme.
Cage will be joined by Olivia Wilde who will be playing Clea, Strange's disciple and love interest. Dwayne Johnson will be also taking the role of charismatic sidekick Wong meanwhile Johnny Depp has been hired to play Baron Mordo. Michael Gambon will complete this announcement being just cast as the Ancient One, Dr Strange's mentor.

“Marvel’s Dr Strange” follows the journey of Stephen Strange, who after a car accident changes his views in life to become a great sorcerer under the teachings the Ancient One, now fighting against injustice by day as reborn surgeon, and by night as Dr Strange, Sorcerer Supreme.
