First scene in The Flash Animated Series first Episode Script !

Int. Warehouse-night

We enter to a dark abandoned warehouse in the dead of night. A rat scatters in the distance, looking for food.

A gigantic rat racing across the filthy floor, abruptly stops, looking upwards in the air as if it hears an sound from far off.

The sound of two frantic foot steps start to become more apparent.

Two pairs of feet move towards us. One pair being chased by the other.

We close in on the Victim's face.


VICTIM:
Help someone, HELP!



The Victim trips, then looks at his attacker frozen in fear. The attacker is wearing a blue hoodie with white fur around the hood and at the wrists. His face hidden in shadows and his hands encased in a pair of white gloves, his pants are also blue, and his boots are white with fur. The attacker goes by the name 'Captain Cold'


CAPTAIN COLD:
Get up and face me like a man!



The victim pulls himself together, stands up, and daringly tries to run away from his eminent death.

Captain Cold pulls out his Cold gun, which look like a futuristic silver semi automatic.


CAPTAIN COLD:
FREEZE!



Captain Cold pulls out his Cold gun, which look like a futuristic silver semi automatic. He pulls the trigger, and the air past the barrel of the gun starts to get distort.

The victim runs at full speed, but cant escape the devastating effects of the cold gun, as his body is quickly turned to solid ice.

We go to the intro to the show.



EXT - Central City- EARLY MORNING

A elderly woman walks down a busy street. To her surprise her purse is snatched by a random man. The purse snatcher runs to his fullest, but a red blurs speeds past him at the speed of light. The snatcher become aware of the danger hes in, and tries to run faster. The blur races past him several more times.

One more time the blur rushes to him and knocks him on his butt.

We eye line match the would be thief as he looks up to the serious face of the Flash with the purse in his hand.



THE FLASH
Tisk tisk tisk. You couldn't find something more constructive to do?



The Flash in a second wraps up the man with a rope and returns the purse to the old lady.



ELDERLY LADY
Thanks Flash!
