Fantastic Four 2 may hit theaters in July 2007 and could be before cameras this summer, Fox Studios exec Tom Rothman told IESB.

"We're working on the script," he said. "I'll tell the fans what I always say – there's only one answer and that's to have a great script."

Rothman wouldn't comment on whether Julian McMahon or his character Dr. Doom would return.

IESB says it ran into Michael Chiklis (Ben Grimm/The Thing) at a Shield promo event recently and he expressed a lot of excitement about FF2.
