According to Collider.com, "Arthur & Lancelot", David Dobkin's ("The Change-Up") upcoming retelling of the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, has found it's likely protagonists: Kit Harrington ("Game of Thrones") and Joel Kinnaman ("The Killing").

The actors have beaten several other candidates, including Dominic Cooper, Sam Clafin, Jim Sturgess, Hans Matheson, Benjamin Walker and Liam Hemsworth, and an offer is expected to be made soon.
"Arthur & Lancelot" was written by Dobkin and is being produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, who acquired the Script for $2 million dollars after a bidding war with several other studios. The movie is focused on how the legend of the Knights of the Round Table began, and centers Arthur and Lancelot's friendship and the creation of the concept of Democracy by Arthur. The movie is being fast-tracked by Warner, which has shelved two other similar projects also in development: Bryan Singer's remake of John Boorman's 1981 movie "Excalibur"; and Guy Ritchie's reinvention of the myth alongside Warren Ellis, also titled "Excalibur". With the cancellations, Singer is expected to direct a remake of "Battlestar Galactica" after finishing his next movie, "Jack, The Giant-Killer"; while Ritchie is rumored to be direction the movie adaptation of DC Comics' "Sargent Rock" after wrapping up "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows".
"Arthur & Lancelot" is rated PG-13 and will be released on March 15, 2013.
