Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was one of 2017's biggest surprises and there's now a huge amount of excitement surrounding the sequel, Jumanji: The Next Level. Set for release this December, the movie brings back Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black, along with a number of new faces for an adventure which is clearly going to be bigger and better than the first!

In this trailer, we get to see plenty of awesome action scenes, the franchise's trademark humour, and some surprising reveals as we finally learn what's happened to Bethany.

It's clear the cast is having a lot of fun together, and while there's a lot of excitement surrounding Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, it's easy to imagine moviegoers gravitating towards this sequel - especially as it looks like a definite crowd-pleaser.

Check out the new trailer and poster below and stay tuned for more on Jumanji: The Next Level!

All the guys must be standing on a rock or something because Karen being that low just doesn't look right.

Why would a horse be a playable character? Jack Black doing that teenage girl shtick at the end is still great.

@Nebula -
Personally viewed the rebooted series of Jumanji as a Scooby Doo style rip-off game - just with a sex swapped Velma.

The nature of the game in 'Welcome to the Jungle' is more of a mystery solving game, find a treasure, find a way to solve puzzles, avoid certain enemy threats along the way, deal with you strengths and weaknesses, use a specific character in a specific way. It's less adventure and more puzzle solving.

E.g.
• Dr. Smolder Bravestone = Fred
• Ruby Roundhouse = Daphne
• Professor Sheldon "Shelly" Oberon = Velma
• Franklin "Mouse" Finbar = Shaggy
• Horse = Scooby

@Nebula - Well, there's been a game with a goat and a goose, so why not a horse?

@Reeds2Much - Yeah, but not as well as regular people.

More of a fan of the original, but admittedly the rebooted series was kind of fun the last time around. Despite the chance of setting it feels very repetitive this time around.

Has potential to outgross Star Wars though, last Jumanji film made $962.2m and i could easily see it making more than the previous installment.

Karen Gillan’s going for the biggest box office earner of the year.

@Chewtoy - I think between Captain Marvel, Endgame and Just Mercy, Brie Larson that title in the bag

The first trailer was better. And I feel they showed a few things here that they should have saved, but it surely looks like a fun ride. Some of the twists they're doing off of the previous movie are pretty clever.
