teabag, you seriously don't like this show? I think they've done a terrific job with that (admittedly screwing with the legend at the same time).

I've tried watching it, a few times in fact and its crap!

They should have kept ROBIN HOOD going, i liked that! : P

No offence, but if you've ever really read up on what the Arthurian legend has been through the centuries, then you'll know that there is no such thing as a definitive version, nor is there any proof whatsoever that any part of it is actually history. What people have done since round about the 11th century, is to write down their own interpretations, using their own focus and interests, re-interpreting and re-telling what has always been a myth. What the people at 'Merlin' are doing is nothing else at all. It's an interpretation just like 'The First Knight' or 'King Arthur'.

No need to insult anyone (although if there have to be insults, proper spelling is always a good idea; it makes it easier for people to take them seriously).
