I was surprised to find the action figures for Kilowog and very weird looking Stel on my local Walgreens (of all places) this afternoon, they only had one of each for $12.99, I do not know if there was a street date or anything for these, but for all you collectors out there, be on the lookout because they're probably out there in stores already.

Not from the action figure you don't. It wouldn't fit a 5 year-old. The part that wraps around the finger is WAY too small and the lantern symbol is too big. It just looks weird and doesn't fit.


But why did the people who made the action figure of Stel make him look SOO bad and SO different from the movie? The toy Stel looks like complete shit.

BTW... its official! I'm going to an advanced screening! I don't know the date yet, but I'll be posting an editorial about it.

they made the figure from early concept art for Stel, it says something like that on the back, but I was too dumb to take a picture of it...

At least you could say that's Stel before he got blown to pieces and rebuilt. Shitty design, though. I hope he gets some decent screentime - I always liked Stel. (Bzzd and Green Man, too. I like non-traditional Lanterns.)

I saw some Green Lantern toys in Wal Mart last Saturday, Parallax included. I probably would have bought one but I have enough action figures already, plus I didn't want spent anything since I was going to see Thor that same day.

@convilella: I dunno. I figure anything he says would probably sound a lot like BZZD to humanoids since he's so tiny. It's not much more stupid than Sinestro really.

That picture's clearly from Toyfare magazine. It would be pretty cool if the toy's packaging made Jeopardy jokes, though.

The Kilowog looks pretty great but that stel is awful like they just got somebody who had no idea who it was to make it.
