Pirate of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales took the #1 spot this weekend with an estimated $62M and has grossed $208M internationally with a worldwide total of $285M. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 came in at #2 with $20M beating Baywatch's $18M, Alien Covenant dropped to #4 with an estimated $10M. The Disney/Marvel sequel now has $333,205,927 domestic and  beating the first one both domestic ($333,176,600) and international ($440,152,029) with a grand total of $783,305,927 Worldwide making it Disney/Marvel's 5th highest grossing movie. Vol.2 has also passed DEADPOOL's Worldwide haul of $783,112,979With similar legs as the first one expect the sequel to hit the $400M domestic mark. Which movie did you catch this weekend? Congratulations to James Gunn and co., this was to be expected after the success of the first and the warm reception of the second, I have yet to watch this though.

Nice. I think I'm in a very small boat of people who liked this better than the first one.

Also, finally saw King Arthur. More people in the theater than I expected. I was seriously expecting the theater to look like this:
