Chris Pratt Weighs In On GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2 Possibly Adapting PLANET HULK

Based on the ending of Avengers: Age of Ultron and some now pretty old rumours, many fans still believe that the Hulk will be joining Star-Lord and company in Guardians of the Galaxy. What does Chris Pratt think? Hit the jump to find out and to see his reaction...

Marvel can't or won't make a solo movie featuring the Hulk because of rights issues with Universal, but that doesn't stop the Green Goliath taking on a key role in other releases set in the MCU.

Is he going to show up in Guardians of the Galaxy? Well, that's the current theory despite recent denials from writer and director James Gunn. Regardless, Chris Pratt - who has read the treatment for the sequel - is very keen on getting to work with Mark Ruffalo. Claiming that he hasn't heard anything about a team-up (keep a close eye on his reaction though), all he would tell IGN is: "I'd love the chance to work with Mark Ruffalo. He's a terrific actor." As for what would happen when they meet, he believes that the pair would "do some choreographed dances in no time. I'd teach The Hulk how to do the Running Man." Do you think we're going to get a Planet Hulk adaptation?

Haha, I don't think Planet Hulk is happening. Not sure I want Planet Hulk, it would be all CGI

He better not be in it. I'd like to see Hulk in a movie, but adapting planet Hulk in guardians is just a way to make a Hulk movie without it technically being a Hulk movie.

Would be cool to see, but 99% sure it won't happen. But hopefully they can make the sequel a little deeper, now that they have established the world and its main players.

I have this odd feeling that we're going to see a Hulk mini-series pop up before Inifnity War hits. Maybe on Netflix or maybe on network TV, but either way, Hulk is essentially out of the picture until then. Banner was left alone on the jet, this would be the perfect opportunity for him to go back into hiding and they could give us something akin to the old TV series. I bet Ruffalo would be down.

Nah, this won't happen. It would have been awesome to see Planet Hulk in any form, but James Gunn and Kevin Feige have denied it to many times. If it happened now they'd both appear to be a bit foolish...

Why do idiots keep wasting time with this??? At the end of AoU Banner was on a Quinjet, not a friggin space ship! It's not going into outer space. Besides that Fury even said they think he splashed down in the sea.

OVER! FINISHED! KAPUT! NUFF SAID!!!

Hulk may not go into space. But the studio and the director saying the opposite means nothing.

Never forget.

Please not yet. Give us Incredible Hulk 2 before any Planet Hulk arc.

Just a theory, in phase 2 Marvel paid homage to Empire Strikes Back by cutting off hands. In phase 3 I theorize heavy father arcs. Stark, T'Challa, Thor, Star-Lord.

The PLANET HULK storyline is the best direction for another solo HULK film.

MAN how many times do the guys at Marvel have to say it before people understand? There are no solo Hulk flicks coming anytime soon, and I HIGHLY doubt he would show up in GOTG 2,it would completely undermine the Guardians in their own movie

In case anyone missed it(because the editing in the movie was the big problem)....the jet crash landed in the sea round Asia.....MONTHS AFTER THE ENDING!!!! So he can be in space!! Hawkeye kid is born, the new team and facilities are up....both joss n Kevin said the ending is months after everything goes down.

So maybe not a full planet hulk movie, but maybe they find him on a planet, and that is when the guardians figure out thanos is on his way to earth. Bam!!!!

That is assuming it is anything like the comic. So far, that has not been the case with the MCU.

So are we not going to talk about Pratt's semi-panicked reaction to her "Hulk in space" comment? Or how he's clearly flailing around looking for what to say in response to that?

Haha it's definitely a reach and while I've largely given up hope that Feige would be making an announcement that Hulk would be making an appearance there...I just can't bring myself to believe it's a foregone conclusion that it won't happen in some capacity. Obviously not a direct adaptation of Planet Hulk or anything like that, but, I mean, I just don't see how Age of Ultron could end with Hulk in a Quinjet at high-altitude if that wasn't going to be developed any further in future movies.

That sucks we won't get a solo hulk because or rights issues. Marvel should bite the bullet and give fans what they want. Hulk has so many amazing stories it'd be a shame to not see them on screen.
