GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: Andy Park Shares A More Comic-Accurate Concept Design For Zoe Saldana's Gamora

Though most fans seemed to be very happy with the depiction of Gamora in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, some felt more effort could have been put in to making her look a bit more like her comic book counterpart.

Andy Park recently shared an early piece of concept art for Zoe Saldana's green-skinned crew member, and now he's unveiled an alternate version which seems to confirm that they actually were considering a more comic-accurate look for the lethal former assassin at one point.

Tell us, would you have prefferd something like this, or are you fine with the costume as-is?

I think they should go with the white suit for GOTG Vol. 3 after Avengers 3 and 4 if they aren't already using them there

@EnnisFan - Personally, I feel having her in white armour (similar to the first orders Stormtroopers) would go well with the 'lived in aesthetics' of the guardians designs.
Plus, in hindsight, Proxima Midnight has very similar armour so it would feel less unique to Gamora,
Additionally, in-universe, it seem Gamora and Nebula don't need armour as their body modifications sufficiently protect them.

@StormXmen123 - I just feel like it would be a great translation on-screen for a cosmic universe vs. the leather and metal looking outfit above. Wasn't thinking of proxima midnight but you're right about the similarities for sure now that I just looked it up. Also gamora still has use for the space suit even though she has those modifications so that could be its use instead of the blue force field and they could throw a jetpack on the back to get around.
