Guardians of the Galaxy is flying the flag for the comic book movie genre following a WGA nomination for adapted screenplay earlier. Now, the James Gunn directed movie has been nominated by the Costume Designer Guild in the ‘Excellence in Fantasy Film’ category. The film faces tough competition from the likes of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One and The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies. The winners will be revealed on Feburary the 17th at the award shows 17th annual show. Check out the other contenders along with a list of the other categories and nominees below.
