Target’s website lists the Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Blu-ray as being scheduled for release on August 22, 2017. This hasn't been made official by Marvel yet and should be treated as an estimate for now, but the time-frame would make sense.
Meanwhile, James Gunn's sequel is on its way to hitting the $400 million mark at the domestic box office, which means it should hit the $900M worldwide. A billion seems highly unlikely at this stage, but Marvel Studios will still be very pleased with that performance.
In other BO news, Wonder Woman is facing stiff competition from Cars 3 but is still holding strong. The Amazon Warrior's first solo adventure dropped just 30% from last weekend to take in $40 million, and now stands at $274 million domestically and $571 globally after just 3 weeks on release.
