Iron Man: the first film in the
Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film that ushered in shared cinematic universes into the mainstream market. As you can imagine, a lot of effort went into the making of this film, but there is one aspect of the film you may not expect that much effort went into - the title logo. The design of the logo for a film is actually far more important than one might think, as it is one of the first and most prominent things movie-goers will see on posters, ads and trailers. So naturally, a title logo NEEDS to:

So, as it is with any piece of art, they didn't quite get what they wanted on the first attempt. For those needing a refresher, here is the FINAL logo that was released with the film:
Fede Ponce, a freelance creative director who is "called for a lot of
Marvel projects", said this about the finished logo while speaking to
filmsketchr:
"We go through a lot of iterations and concepts when designing. For this particular case, I had read the script and was able to grasp what the director wanted to talk about in this movie. The movie in essence is about redemption, about being broken and being re-born. So the main title had all those elements in it"
