Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

I'll be honest when I first saw this I thought he looks like Mr. T

However it is kinda growing on me, seems like they're going for the "he keeps trophies of his victories" look about him.

I am sure he'll be a great villain, but was hoping for a more menacing Mandarin poster.

Also is the smoke to his left forming an "S", or perhaps a dragon shape?

Fly ass pants, man. Check those dog tags out. Killing bitches and hanging their shit around like decoration. Rocking the shades indoors, too. Shane Black hooked a terrorist up.

Anyone else think that he's mocking Tony? Seeing as he's rocking the shades, acting almost like a billionaire playboy badass. Just a view, I guess.

Either way, he's looking pretty cool overall.

Ok, talibans are america's enemy, but marvel, why the [frick] you made a villain called "MANDARIN" coming from Afghanistan (or at least, resembling like osama), and then you surrounded him with chinese things???
Iron Man is not Cap, he just give a [frick] of "America's enemies"!!

Making him just chinese was too difficult, eh? O.o

Or some chinese governor told you that if the enemy was not chinese they would lower the production taxes in their country?

OOps, didn't see this before I posted mine. Check out the helmets in the full picture though. Looks suspiciously like Cap's from TFA.

First the tattoo, now those helmets. Always getting Cap vibes from this guy it seems. Kool Image! Wearing Stark's shades like a boss! lol

Those boots, the shades...yeah, I think we'll get a more militaristic terrorist-like Mandarin, in certain aspects. Which is not a bad thing, and is very interesting, to say the least.

And the tiny details seemingly related to Captain America intrigues me even further. Is he not only targeting Iron Man? Do the consequences post The Avengers have any part in this, as well as the villain's background? The curiosity is killing me, but it just gets better.

That being said, that full image should be added to the article.

True. The reason behind the changes of the Mandarin are more reasonable than just straying from the source material just because they can.

I think he will give a great performance and the movie will kick ass but it is kind of funny to me that nobody really trashes this movie or the one before it for the changes to the villains like they did for tdkr.

I don't know, but shouldn't this kind of change be expected ever since the first Iron Man movie? And CBM's do take liberties, and personally, it is the main appeal of the genre for me - to see the comic book characters being adapted to the big screen, with its own standard, et cetera.
