WarnerMedia Releases Statement In Response To Latest Accusations From JUSTICE LEAGUE Actor Ray Fisher

The Ray Fisher vs. Warner Bros. saga continues. Following the Justice League actor's latest social media rant, WarnerMedia has put out a statement in defence of DC Films President Walter Hamada...

Last night, Ray Fisher confirmed that his character, Cyborg, was indeed written out of The Flash, and once again called out DC Films President Walter Hamada (among others) for impeding the investigation that sprang from the actor's original allegations of misconduct during the first round of Justice League reshoots.

Now, WarnerMedia has responded with an official statement, making it very clear that they're standing by Hamada.

"I believe in Walter Hamada and that he did not impede or interfere in the investigation," said WarnerMedia chair and CEO Ann Sarnoff. "Furthermore, I have full confidence in the investigation’s process and findings. Walter is a well-respected leader, known by his colleagues, peers, and me as a man of great character and integrity. As I said in Walter's recent deal extension announcement, I’m excited about where he’s taking DC Films and look forward to working with him and the rest of the team to build out the DC Multiverse."

Fisher has previously stated that he won't be involved with any project Hamada is heading up, so this really does look like the end for his take on Cyborg.

Fans seem to be split when it comes to this whole situation. Fisher has been commended for having the courage to speak out, but some are beginning to feel his anger might be misplaced, and airing his grievances on a public forum has brought him just as much backlash as it has support.

What do you think? Did Fisher go about this the right way? Let us know in the comments.

@RokoVII - THIS has been going over forever?!

Now imagine constantly listening about a crap CBM for 3 years after it's release, then finally when you think people will stop talking, they announce a new cut of that same crap.

@RokoVII - Its sad really, I was REALLY looking forward to the JL making their live action big screen debut when it was first announced but there's not a single positive thing that came out of it.

Honestly is Walter Hamada gonna save the DC universe anyway?? He's been in the job for a few years now and DC are still making sub-par films. I guess it looks like he'll have a success this year with Suicide Squad and Batman though.
