i would not consider him for the role of namor.
he looks like a swimmer but without some major prosthetics, he would not be able to pull off the arrogance of the sub-mariner.

Leee this is the first time i have to disagree with you, Vinnie here is a terrible choice, actually terrible actor in general.

This guy's body is worst than Tom "Clark Kent" Welling not to mention I dont think he has that edge he'd need to play Namor. I guess if their going to do a campy Namor like they screwed up the FF then yea I'll just wait for the dvd if they make it.

Vin?! For Namor? I wish I knew where you guys scored whatever is you guys are on cause it must be goooood.

David has that moldable body that he can make super tone if he wanted too so I don't think that's a problem for him. The only problem I see is his tone of voice simply because he kind of has more of a hero's voice (hence Hal Jordan in "JL: New Frontier")

I'm led to believe that it is in fact an official entry because it's locked with IMDB Pro only access. All IMDB Pro is monitored and verified. However, without having an IMDB Pro account myself I'm not exactly sure he has been cast as Namor. Perhaps he has some other role

Only because I have to, Vin Diesel is a very capable actor thank you very much. He's got a lot more talent then just Fast and Furious and Riddick type roles, check his other stuff out before making ignorant comments.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! NO NO NO NO NO!! As a passionate fan of Namor, I say no! I say no. No. No!!

Not only is David Boreanaz not sexy, but he has never had the demeanor of pure authority that Namor has. I know he can be a scary, manipulative vampire. I loved Angel and Buffy, but this movie will bomb. David just doesn't have it.

My fangirl pick is Wentworth Miller though he does NOT have the body to pull it off. If he did, he'd be my choice, but I know he hates to work out.

Vin Diesel does not act good enough to be Namor. Namor is almost poetic...in a very mannish, sexy kind of way. I don't think he can pull it off.

I think if they casted him as Namor then they might as well cast Jensen Ackles as Captain America and Ashton Kutcher as Hawkeye and just make the entire Avengers movie one ridiculously long Abercrombie & Fitch ad

I do want to see Jensen Ackles play Captain America. I think he'd be perfect and I don't know anyone else better for the role right now, and I've heard tons of suggestions from this site and others and I disagreed with them all. Jensen Ackles could do it.

And Wentworth, despite the obvious geeky and passive suggesting name, is a very talented actor. He manipulated everybody in Prison Break and had a "Of course I'm smarter and better than you" air about him. He could pull it off, IF he worked out like a maniac, because he is currently too small. I don't think he would though. So if he doesn't, then he's useless.

However, I would watch that movie a record of one million times.

Like I said, I wouldn't Boycot the movie if he were cast but I just think their are much better choices. So far I'm thinking Cavizel would knock it out of the park.

As for Cap, well we're just going to have to agree to disagree. Jensen looks like a boy, Cap needs to be played by a man. However I support him for Hawkeye!

I think Jensen would be a great Hawkeye and I do think he'd have to buff up for Cap. But I've seen Jensen Ackles bigger. I still support him for the role.

I think Cavizel is very talented and I do think he could do it. I've seen Count of Monte Cristo so many times. I never get tired of that movie. I always said he should be Iron Man before they cast Robert Downy Jr. though he does a great Iron Man.
