Artist digitally adds super heroes in pictures of the protests happening in Brazil

Using a series of photos from Ig Aronovich, the people running the Tumblr account “Poder e Responsabilidade” (Power and Responsibility) digitally add the Hulk, Captain America, Batman and others to the streets of São Paulo in photo-manipulations, showing what it'd be like if they were participating in it. The name even goes back to Uncle Ben's famous saying "With great power comes great responsibility".

For those who don't know, Brazil's in the middle of a series of riots and protests made by the general public and students, claiming for better quality in basic services such as education, health and security as opposed to the billions invested in things that are meant for the international public like the World Cup. While it started as protests in some cities against the abusive rise in the public transport fee (Brazil has the worst and most expensive public service in the world), it has escalated and now there are protests in practically every main city of the country against the corruption in the government. All while being repressed by violent police force, tear gas and rubber bullets the size of golf balls and others.

These riots are not being broadcast by the national media, that instead paints the protesters as vandals and insists on saying it's all because of 20 cents (the increase of the bus fee in São Paulo), which is not true. The increase was last drop, the one thing that was missing for the population to hit the streets and claim what's theirs. The international media isn't giving it much attention either.
