I love you guys, I really do. Who needs television these days when Fanboys go against there fan favorites at the tip of a hat. I Honestly don;t see all this anger toward bryan Singer, yeah he did pull James Marsden Cycke out of X3 to be in Superman returns, which is boring but not that bad, like my last article on Spider-man 3, I explain why SM3 shouldn't get the bad rep it deserves.

If you look at superman returns minis the big plot wholes its a nice continuation to the Richard donor superman II, which lets face it which movie would you see? superman returns on superman 3: the one where it didn;t even had superman at all in it who then urns evil for some reason and it all goes batshit insano form there. So why so much anger toward the guy who co-written X-mans first class and DOFP? yeah canon is way more screwy in that series then in any other recent CBM franchise, but let's face it, you actually thought FC was a good film. (I still don;t see the appeal there, it wasn't all that good to me, however it did have its moments here and there.)

I think Bryan Singer is an okay director but when he's passionate about something he could do a lot of good. my only problem with singer is I Don;t think he's a good writer. (Same can be said about Mathew Vauhn). SO why do you not like him and turn your back onto someone you once admired? because he's partly to blame for How X3 turn out? because Superman returns was a continuation of the revee/donnor superman? what is it? I Think stupidly and the fact you follow the crowd might be it. I loved what he did with Mockingbird Lane, and while ti wasn't the best show int he world, he did a great job, I like to singer do more tv work, and hey he gave us sir Stewart, McAvorly, Fassenberers magneto, and Sir mcKellens preformance. I'm excited for DOFP, what about you? why do you not like/like Bryan singer?

The idea of having a Superman film after Superman 2 was an acceptable idea, since characters had already been set up, but not having Supes punch anything, but a huge rock was nonsense. Dont take me wrong I love Supes returns since Supes is my favorite CB character, but I have to confess I like it because I want to like it. On the other hand Supes REturns' SFX are outstanding ever for its days they are still some of the best SFX on CBM nowadays. Bryan Singer is an OK director i still believe x2 is one of the best CBM ever.

@Parker2017- Yeah I believe SupermanIII to be better than Superman Returns. In fact...I'll go just ONE step further and say that i think Superman IV was even better than "Stalkerman Returns"

Singer isn't an "ok guy" he's a [frick]ing asshole who ignores the source material and instead puts his own spin in order to further his own, PERSONAL agenda and i won't get into what that is exactly because i don't want people gettin all pissy with me about it.

But I agree with AcidicHeart- None of the Superman movies were any good.

Superman needed a reboot- DESPERATELY. I'm glad it's happening and that the idiot Singer is nowhere close.

Even his X-Men films weren't all that great...my fav X-Men film thus far has been First Class and that was only good because Singer wasn't DIRECTLY involved, he was only the producer but not the director.

But now that he's the director for the sequel, the sequel is [frick]ed for sure sadly...

That and Singer also makes boring movies. He couldn't direct a truly, heart-pounding, action scene if his miserable life depended on it.

@L4 you also know that Singer was writer for Frist Class right? or you just have that much disdain of passion for the guy (Like I have for Marc Webb, TASM and Sony). I just hope Man of Steel isn't a dud.

I mostly agree about Singer, there's a ton of stuff in SR that I hated but it was still an ok movie and made a decent amount of money.

The scene where he saves the plane is still one of my favorite scenes ever.

@JAY Thank you. whiel is till love Superman @ richard donnors cut of Superman 2. I Don;t see him as an ass, I'm sure Singer is a nice guy, maybe a little full of hismelf like the rest of us. I love the Plane Scene to, it's to me felt iconic to show yo THATS Superman. an d while smallville will always have a place in my heart and i know SR is an okay film, i find it nicer (effect wise, and in some aspects of the directing) to be good.

@LP4 Are you a nice person or a douche? Not do you see yourself as a nice person or a douche, but are you in real life a nice guy that people genuinely like to hang out with or just a bitter old cook?

Bryan Singer is EXTREMELY arrogant. Yes, his Usual Suspects is used in film schools and even high school film study class, but it's like Quentin Tarantino declaring himself a god after making Pulp Fiction... but without going on to make his other movies.

Fanboys feel betrayed by his arrogance because he suddenly departed the X-Men movies (his supposed babies) to go make a horrible "Superman" movie as an homage to Richard Donner.

It took me time to get over that one, especially when he was quoted for saying "comics are unintelligent literature". "X-Men" got me interested again in the comics, and X2 stands tall as one of my top 3 favorite comic book movies.

He may be a douchebag, but he's a talented one.

okay yes he was quoted saying that until he started reading X-Man comics he changed his mind. i'm not sayign tainted that the guy is 100% pure clean, i'm just saying I don;t understand all this "hatered" to this guy which is on Par as Lucas Fans not likeing the prequals.

@imadick then why is Revee considered the best man of steel?

@BattlinMurdock thank you man, its an honor to get your opibnion.
