Simon West director of DC's Human Targe pilot, will be back on the director's chair for another TV pilot for NBC. He'll be directing "The Cape" which is about a disgraced police officer who adopts a masked identity to bring criminal to justice.
In other, different but similar, news David Semel who directed the pilot episode of Heroes four years ago, will direct another TV pilot for ABC involving "ordinary people with extraordinary abilities," called "No Ordnary Family". Star attached to this show is another Family Superhero Alumni, Michael Chiklis of Fantastic Four.
Both pilots should be shooting shortly.
If the news about Smallville's 10th season being its last, I was hoping that there's other Marvel or DC characters that could fill its spot. Both of the shows sounds good but I really would like to watch about established superheroes.
