Is Disney Creating Their Own Shared Universe?

With the great success of the MCU since IronMan looks like several movie studios are trying to copy that success, and that also may include Disney themselves. Yes the parent company of Marvel may be connecting all their films around one movie The Little Mermaid and a sunken ship. Read on for details.......I promise it will not make you into a Disney Princess!

For a while now there has always been crazy theories or speculations floating around from fans regarding certain movie studios or franchises. For instance one crazy theory that has been floating around is the Pixar Theory, if you have not read or watch this theory I suggest you head over to Youtube and see how these theories can get out of hand. That being said the HuffingtonPost themselves have posted a video of a theory that Disney is connecting their movies in a shared universe to speak around a sunken ship in The Little Mermaid. Now granted we have seen an easter in Frozen connecting another movie but it seems there may be more to it.

With Marvel success on their shared universe on the big screen it no wonder why other big studios are trying to copy that success. WB is starting off their shared universe with their DC properties starting in 2016 and SONY, Fox, and even Universal are trying to make an attempt at a shared universe as well. It woudl only make sense for Disney the parent company of Marvel to follow suit. I actually think it is a very clever idea to connect their animated movies even if it just through easter eggs like they did in Frozen. Well enjoy the video and post your thoughts below.

LOL! Come on it is very interesting to say the least right?

I mean I think it is awesome if Disney is really connecting these movies based off of a ship wreck in the Little Mermaid.

To me this show the power int he MCU and that is a giant compliment.

@ImKennyPowers

That is the Pixar Theory, this is the Little Mermaid Theory. Two separate universes, but this theory seems to be more sound if you ask me. The Pixar theory is really out there!

someone needs to make an article about how amazing the incredibles is.
the "golden era" of heroes being in the 50's-ish time, then their present day being around late 70's maybe early 80's.
the watchmen similarities, hell the civil-war similarities, all while being a movie that was exciting, funny, dramatic, suspenseful, sad, everything And Feeling very real, while still going all out with costumes and powers and cheesy-ness. it was damn near perfect.
and dat elastigirl!
oy vey dat elastigirl...
