Number 10:

Omega Red

Always one of my favorite characters in the X-Men Universe, Omega Red is in my opinion, one of those villains who would just look amazing on screen. Not only would he be visually stunning, his back story would be quite interesting to see unfold as well. With ties similar to the Super Solider program, Arkady Rossovich was a vicious serial killer from Russia. After being captured, he was turned over to the KGB who attempted to somewhat re-create the Super Solider program. The end result was of course Omega Red. With superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability, agility, and reflexes he also is equipped with retractable tentacles made from a alloy called Carbonadium: The Soviet Unions take of Adamantium. Sure, his story would have to be tweaked a bit to fit along with the universe Fox has created, but if done right he could be great adversary for Wolverine to face off against in future films.

Number 9:

Metallo

Obviously where my User Name is derived from, Metallo is one of my all time favorite Baddies in the Superman Universe. One of the few Villains who pose a physical threat to Superman, Metallo (formerly known as John Corben) is a known criminal turned Robot with a brain powered by a Kryptonite heart that of course everyone knows, weakens Superman. His former human counterpart John Corben was also a journalist like Clark Kent whom Corben actually replaced for a short time while clark was MIA. Corben holds a personal grudge with Superman because he feels Supe's is responsible for the death of his sister. I feel his back story alone would fit right in to the current Man Of Steel Universe Zack Snyder is creating. Using the mass destruction of Metropolis, it could be explained that Corbens sister was fatally wounded amidst the battle between Superman and Zod. I would really enjoy seeing this unfold on screen.

Number 8:

Kraven The Hunter

I for one, love the story of Kraven The Hunter and think he'd be a great addition to the Spider-Man movie franchise. I always had an idea of Kraven hearing of "a new species in town" rampaging the streets of New York (aka: The Lizard). Kraven hearing of this news, heads to New York to attain a new Trophy. While hunting The Lizard, he meets Spider-Man, whom Kraven later feels would be a much more worthy trophy than The Lizard yet still hunts them both feeling 2 is better than 1. I think this would've added a pretty good dynamic to the story seeing as Spidey would not only have to face The Lizard and Kraven, he would also have to try to save the man inside The Lizard, Dr. Conners from being killed by Kraven as well.

Number 7:

Archangel

I know that there may be people who will say "well Archangel is not a Villain!!" Well if you think that, sadly you are mistaken. With X-Men: Apocalypse already being developed, it's a damn shame that we many never get to see justice done to this amazing character. Warren Worthington or "Angel" was brainwashed by Apocalypse to join his "Four Horseman" as his so called "Angel of Death". With razor sharp wings that can also shoot tiny daggers at will, Archangel is one of those characters who you could watch begin as the villain and later return to his roots and become the hero again. Plus, he just looks plain awesome!

Number 6:

Black Mask

One of the most ruthless villains in Batman lore, Black Mask is yet another villain from Batmans amazing Rogue's Gallery that has been completely overlooked by film makers. As leader of The False Face Society: a group he assembled consisting of expendable criminals and thugs, he always poses a great threat to Batman not only with his street muscle but his intellect as well. And with his parents having ties to Bruce Wayne's parents, this could add a little more drama to his involvement with Batman as well.

Number 5:

Mr. Sinister

Another X-Men villain, Mr. Sinister is one of the most powerful and feared villains in the entire X-Men Universe. With many abilities such as telepathy, telekinesis, regeneration, teleportation, and shape shifting, Mr. Sinister is another character that I honestly see being adapted on film in the near future. Also a member of Apocolypse's Four Horsemen in The Age Of Apocalypse storyline, I'm sure that could be adapted to fit alongside my pick above, Archangel and the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse film.

Number 4:

Mysterio

Fans have griped for years to have the chance to finally see Mysterio brought to life on film. There is no question that he would be one of the most visually stunning villains ever to grace the screen (dome head and all!). His powers aren't really powers at all. He uses his impressive knowledge of special effects and magic to create insane illusions to throw Spidey off his tracks. Just imagine with the right creative team behind it they could do some "Amazing" things with this character. Plus... he's also a crucial member of the Sinister Six so it may just be a possibility.

Number 3:

Hush

A villain from one of my all-time favorite Batman stories, Hush is just plain badass and creepy. Hush holds a personal and very deranged grudge with the Wayne family as the Wayne's saved his mother's life from a almost fatal car accident in which Hush sabotaged the car to kill them both to gain their inheritance. Such a twisted and insane character as Hush would be a stunning and scary performance to witness on screen. If you have not read any of the Batman:Hush series, I suggest you should and you will understand why I feel he would be amazing to see brought to life.

Number 2:

Darkseid

Everyone... including myself, is a little on the fence about Batman vs. Superman and the Justice League film. I for one think both are going to be game changers for sure but I also worry a bit too judging on some of the casting decisions we all have seen as of late. (I'm sure Grif knows what I'm talking about.) I feel when Justice League comes around, we may just see this villain coming to life but who knows? Darkseid is one of the most powerful beings in the entire DC Universe. His Omega Beam is capable of erasing life or resurrecting it and also has a very strong concussive force. Also capable of teleportation through space and time, his powers are barely matched by Superman or even Doomsday. This villain DESERVES to be the main baddy in Justice League.

Number 1:

Galactus

Who can forgive the giant space cloud we got in Rise Of The Silver Surfer? NO ONE I know. I will always wonder why one of Marvels most powerful villains was given the shaft by the studio that created that film. The guy devours planets, his powers are pretty much endless and come from a cosmic source. And not only that he is freaking HUGE! His appearance would be absolutely breathtaking and frightening if done right. Imagine Galactus looking down at Earth in all his glory ready to devour it and the battle than ensues to save the planet. This would be a battle of Epic proportions and would be in my opinion, possibly one of the best battles that could ever take place in a CBM.

Well there ya' have it folks! I hope you enjoyed my picks for the Top 10 Baddies Who Deserve The CBM Treatment. Be sure you share your thoughts in the Comments below. I can't wait to see what you guys think of my choices and hopefully get to see some of your own as well. Thanks for reading!

@ Mr. CBM56

I was thinking about doing an honorable mentions thing before my number 1 pick and Carnage was going to be the first on that list. He totally deserves treatment as well.

Excellent list. Would love to see Metallo. He could be one that is psychology unhinged by his sister's death with Luthor being a devil on his shoulder if you will that manipulates and twists him into getting revenge by killing Superman before he realizes he's a mere tool and walks away. No killing Superman or attacking Luthor, he walks away to be alone and to not bother.

Oh damn I totally forgot about Galactus in MUA... THAT is how he should look in live-action.

I wonder how Fox looked at the comic version of Galactus and said "You know what, this won't work in live action. Lets make him a giant fart instead!"

Replace Mysterio for Carnage and I agree with the entire thing.

Great minds think alike. I had an idea for a story involving Kraven and the Lizard as well! They would fit perfectly together.

I have another for you that ya might like.

For a sequel to The Wolverine.....

Romulus is the big baddie....who hires Omega Red to attack and lure Wolverine to Madripoor. Delivering a message that they have kidnapped Mariko. Yukio contacts Wolverine after Omega Red escapes......with footage of Sabretooth breaking into the Yashida grounds, killing the guards, assaulting Yukio, but letting her live as he takes Mariko. So then we have Wolverine and Yukio headingoff to Madripoor to find out what this Romulus character wants from him.

Thats all I have so far, but I do want to adapt the story from the comics a bit. I want Romulus to be the one to recoat his claws. Mariko WILL die at the end of the story.

See......you would then learn that Romulus is responsible for the Weapon X program. There would be flashbacks of Logan and Creed going on a mission together during their Team X years. A mission against Omega Red....whom Romulus was responsible for creating too. Now I have an interesting idea for showing the flashbacks of the two. Cast both Sabretooth actors that played the part. Show Schieber playing him in the flashbacks, and Tyler Mane playing him in the present. Explain the difference in appearance as further enhancements done by Romulus. This would also explain away continuity issues. This story would give a bit of closure and answers for the Weapon X and Victor Creed elements of Logans life I think.

I agree with all ten on that list.
I'm sure that Metallo or either Parasite will be used in Batman vs Superman.
As for Omega Red i think the villain will be used in The Wolverine sequel.
Sinister would have been better used in Wolverine Origins where there was an island with captive mutants being experimented on. Sinister should be used in the upcoming Age of Apocalypse as well as Archangel.
Darkseid should be used in a Justice League film.
Galactus would be better suited in the MCU along with Silver Surfer.

*sigh* fanboys whining about Galactus again. *sigh

I'm sorry, but I just cannot see general audiences ever accepting what would basically be a star-sized human who can eat planets. There are some things that just do not work in film the way they do in comics, and that is probably one of them. Yes, the cloud was kind of dumb, but the Galactus from the comics would have looked even dumber. Frankly, I think they should just never use Galactus at all. There are plenty of other villains anyway. (And yes, I realize it's very hard to introduce the Silver Surfer without Galactus. I have no problem never seeing him again, I don't really like the character anyway.)

@feedonatreefrog

Have you been keeping up with any of the comments on this site? If so you would see that it's pretty well divided when it comes to BvS and Justice League as far as casting decisions and delays go. People are "on the fence" about Affleck and Gadots casting, even more so with Eisenberg's addition. I thought that would be obvious.

I want Stilt Man goddammit!
In all seriousness I want to see the Court of Owls adapted. It's a good way to incorporate the Bat Family and the fifth issue with the maze would be great to see on screen. I wouldn't mind Hush but not actually adapting the god-awful Jeph Loeb storyline, I would want it to bed based on what Paul Dini did later on. I would also like to see Brainiac, maybe for the first JLA movie or the next Superman movie. Brainiac has always been my favourite Superman villain and I want to see something done with him!
M3T4LL0
M3T4LL0 - 2/23/2014, 8:13 PM
I would love to see Brainiac!! I'm shocked at myself for not including him. I would much rather see him in a stand alone MoS movie than JL though.

I would rather a live action version of "Superman: TAS" Bizarro than Metallo. Metallo is flat and uninteresting.

Batman should face his own version of Bizarro: The Red Hood or Owlman. He needs someone to match him move for move whether physical or mental.

I would suggest the Beetle for Spidey but I'm guessing Paul Giamatti's Rhino will cover the armored villain idea. Just please do something to make us forget that terrible version of the Lizard.

As for the X-Men, I would add The Marauders to Mr. Sinister. It would give him more of that Darth Vader quality while giving the team another team to fight instead of Magneto's Brotherhood/Acolytes.

Lastly, Batman's most sinister nemesis on screen to date has been Joel Schumacher.

Hahaha! Yes, good ol' Schumacher is the epitome of Batman villains. He makes The Joker nervous.
