With everyone posting their opinion of the best CBMs I've decided to put my two cents in. Just my opinion but hope you agree.

10. Blade: Although not my favorite CBM it did pave the way for the new wave of marvel comicbook movies leaving behind a history of disappointments (fantastic four, captain america.)
.

9.Spiderman/Spiderman 2: Spiderman broke records for comicbookmovies. This makes my list because of great special effects, excellent story, and pure love of the character. However poor acting on the part of nearly every cast member especially the main character is a definite downfall. I do feel Tobey Maguire is a great actor just not in this role.

8. Xmen Origins Wolverine: Although part of the Brian Singer established Xmen universe it has a soul all it's own. It is very entertaining throughout despite a few mistakes throughout; i.e (deadpool).

7.Sin City: One of the greatest bringing non-mainstream comic to the public. It may be the most eye catching start studded movie on the list. Bringing together stunning imagery, Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba,Clive Owen, Rosario Dawson,Mickey Rourke and the late Brittany Murphy(R.I.P) it stands apart from all others. Truely a masterpiece.

6. 300: Pretty much everything i can say about sin city i can say about 300. All except for the star studded cast. Instead 300 kick started the career Gerard butler pushing him to become one of the most in demand actors in hollywood. Stunning visuals and compelling story makes it amazing to watch.

5. Batman/Batman returns: Tim Burton brought to life everyones favorite non powered superhero like no one before him even came close to. I have to put these two movies together because unlike most sequels they have the feel of being filmed at the same time much like the lord of the rings trilogy.

4. Superman: The only reason this movie is so low on the list is for being made before our advances in visual effects. However still a favorite, still groundbreaking, still essential to all CBMs.

3. Xmen/Xmen2: although Blade paved the way xmen shattered expectations, was the first of a phenomenon and brought life to an even better sequal. Really X2 is my favorite of the trilogy but it wouldn't be possible without the foundation of Xmen one.

2. Ironman: Grounded in reality we have one of the best CBMs of all time. At first i was doubtful that Downey Jr. could pull off the task but was soon proven wrong. The reason this is so high on my list is that it is the flagship of the Avengers franchise, the first in a line of blockbusters marvel events.

1. The Dark knight/Batman Begins: Much like X2 the sequel surpasses the original. There's nearly nothing bad that you can say about this movie(batman's voice). The acting was brilliant on the part of all the actors. Limited cgi was a brilliant touch with massive stunts it was an amazing movie to pull off. It is still a joy to watch and always will be.

@Ozymandias Watchmen was a comic book movie that didn't really live up to the hype of the comic. I mean really the Watchmen is one of the best comic books of all time and in my opinion the movie did not execute the idea of the comic flawlessly. still enjoyed it though.

I can't put Blade on a best CBM movie list they did to many liberties with the character and when I first saw it, it was a big disappointment for me at least .
Did not look like Blade at all costume and weapons were all just too wrong for me....

You're absolutely right, I don't know what i could've been thinking Watchmen does deserve to be on this list; even more so than blade. It slipped my mind however I feel my list is well thought out and nothing should be taken out. Blade had it's problems but without it there would be no others it deserves its spot. That being said; WHAT WOULD YOU TAKE OUT TO PUT WATCHMEN IN?

How do you put Origins on here? Its the worst CBM of all time in my opinion. Take out Origins and replace it with Watchmen ill maybe agree.

why is X-men Orgins on this list. It was a terrible movie the CG was laughable at some moments not to mention the Deadpool incident. What about Watchmen, and Hellboy

Okay Okay Okay, Wolverine was a bad choice. I liked it. It was entertaining but you're all right for best of all time it doesn't make the cut but Watchmen does. So i put it in at #8 in place of wolverine. But i could never put Hellboy on my best CBMs list or incredible Hulk although i enjoyed them they just don't stand toe to toe with the best.

this list is terrible. x-men origins? deadpool was not the only thing wrong with that movie. the entire narrative structure was out of wack! batman returns?? batman was way better! way better. superman is out dated tho good for it's time. and x1 was so anti climactic it pissed me off. that whole movie was perfect until the leather crew showed up.
i understand you but blade and superman on there for their 'pioneer' status. but much better movies have been made since those.

1)dark knight
2)sin city
3)spider-man 2
4)300
5)iron man
6)watchmen
7)the incredible hulk
8)x2
9)hellboy
10)batman/batman begins - take your pick.

think how crazy this list will be in 6-7 years? thor 1, 2, 3??? cap 1, 2, 3??? IM2, 3?? Avengers 1, 2, 3??? batman 3, spider-man 4, 5, 6?? its gonna be great
