What Suit Captain America Should Have Worn V.2

What Suit Captain America Should Have Worn V.2

A long time ago a user that I haven't seen in a while, Aguaman, wrote an editorial about what suit Captain America should wear. This is my response

Editorial Opinion

Like I said in the 'Teaser, this editorial is a response/ comment on a long ago article written by a fellow user. The article is here: http://www.comicbookmovie.com/captain_america/news/?a=30493

In this article Aguaman had the foresight to see that the traditional Captain America suit would look too cheesy on screen for the Avengers. Oddly enough, as I read through many of the comment sections now, since the movie started filming, I'm seeing a lot of people that now see that Aguaman may have been right.

Many of you are commenting about how weird the helmet looks, or how bright and cheesy the colors are. A lot of you seem to have the same basic ideas that he had back before Captain America: The First Avenger came out. So, now I must ask the people of ComicBookMovie.com, do you think Aguaman was right?

P.S. I know this is a short editorial but It wasn't intended to be long

I'm fine with the one he has now. It'll look better post production.

I agree/ hope it is. I feel like they should have done something different with the helmet. It just seems odd but I can't put my finger on why it doesn't seem to look right

@BooYah, I feel the same. I'm sure they will do some touchups in post-production. For such a critical piece to the success of Marvel Studios, that's why Disney expanded their budget.

I think it will look better in post as well. I wish it had more of a "Body armor" or "Kevlar" look to it. He is not bullet proof so it would be practical.

doesnt need body armour spidey didn't have it, nor did daredevil or the ff all of whom (except thing) could be taken out by bullets. Wouldnt want his movements to be as restricted as Nolans batman. His sheild is enough

if he has Body Armour he wouldn't be able to move one of my biggest problems with Nolans Bat suit is the fact its so [frick]ing obvious that Bale and the Stuntment find it [frick]ing hard to move in the suit. And No Aguaman wasn't right, a shit load of people hated the first costume, the whole hockey pads and shit, now they can't get enough. and Cheesy? really? the same people want his wings to stick out and want to see him wearing the fish scale suit with pixie boots.

the super soldier outfit could be saved for the third captain america movie.

1st world war 2 outfit

2nd modern day outfit

3rd super soldier outfit

The Super Soldier one would be better, in my opinion. That's not saying a lot, but even so.

He's not even Captain America in the Super Soldier suit. So it makes no sense. It's like putting Hank in his Yellowjacket costume for the movie while still calling him Ant Man.

@Name- Invisible Woman: forcefield blocks bullets. Mr. Fantastic: stretch and bounce back bullets.

It looks like they tried to update the USO suit from TFA. I think should have just kept the one from TFA and updated the helmet which would have been better imo. The Super Soldier suit should be used for the TFA sequel.
