Pacific Rim is an upcoming science fiction kaiju film directed by Guillermo Del Toro based on a screenplay by Travis Beacham .Starring Idris Elba,Charlie Hunnam,Rinko Kikuchi,Charlie Day,Robert Kazinsky and Ron Perlman. The film is set in the future where soldiers piloting giant robots battle against giant monsters who have mysteriously risen five miles beneath the ocean.
