'DAREDEVIL' Actor Vincent D'onofrio Has Something To Say To Tom Holland's Spider-Man

'DAREDEVIL' Actor Vincent D'onofrio Has Something To Say To Tom Holland's Spider-Man

The anticipation to finally witness Vincent D'onofrio's "Kingpin", square up against Tom Holland's "Spider-Man" is imminent, as D'onofrio has some choice words to say about Spider-Man.

Vincent D'onofrio has absolutely signified his portrayal as Wilson Fisk, AKA "Kingpin", for being one of the most notable, comic-accurate, and beastly performances in all of Marvel. So much so that his character has been brought back in Marvel Studio's 'Hawkeye' show on Disney Plus back in late December of 2021, and we can expect to see him resume his main character role in the upcoming 'Daredevil: Born Again' show, airing on Disney Plus in Spring of 2024.

In his most recent public interview appearance at this years' GalaxyCon, with co-star Charlie Cox, D'onofrio was very expressive about his desire to one day, hopefully, fight off against Tom Holland's Spider-Man:

“Eventually, I will beat Spider-Man’s a**–All of them. I mean, it’s obvious that Punisher, Daredevil, and Spider-Man are the ones that my character is tied to in the comic books. But there’s plenty of room for others, I can just only hope that that happens. But I mean, Spider-Man definitely. I think that would be really really fun.—I want to see it as much as anybody."

“There may be a sea of people between us right now but I’m gonna get you mother f–ker” - Vincent D'onofrio, GalaxyCon

Of course the people that would show more enthusiasm and anticipation to witness a legendary bash between two comic legends would be the actors that would get to work alongside each other to bring it to life. The animosity between Spider-Man and Kingpin dates back within the first decade of Spider-Man's debut in the comics, so a live-action match between the two is definitely approaching in the near future, boundfully.

The general belief is that Kingpin could serve as the primary antagonist for the upcoming fourth Spider-Man film, as this would tie in Daredevil post 'Daredevil: Born Again', and it could finally see the proper introduction of Mac Gargan, AKA "The Scorpion", for his inclusion could stem from Kingpin hiring Gargan as a PI to investigate Spider-Man amid his mayoral campaign and anti-vigilante movement which we will see from 'Born Again'.

Of course, no one has come out to confirm anything, so all we can do is remain as patient as D'onofrio to see this battle begin.

Will be extremely baffled if this isn't Spider-Man 4. They need to do it now before Holland genuinely wants out and before D'Onofrio is too old to throw him around (even on a soundstage/with a green screen behind them).

Hopefully we are shown Fisk taking the serum , something to explain his ability to take on Spider-Man or even DD since they are not portraying him as a 7ft tall 500lb tank in an ascot with a deadly pimp stick

Get him!

Time to make up for all the horrific psychologically crippling suffering we've missed in his movies!

Spider-Man 4 has an insane amount of potential if they get it right. Street-level Spidey all by himself, up against guys like Kingpin. Really lives or dies on the writing though, so I hope they get someone good. Never saw hawkeye but the kingpin clips I saw looked really corny, so I hope it’s not more of that.

@tmp3 - most probably if the fourth film is a direct tie in from Born Again, then we can anticipate some quality level of writing thrown in there.

@tmp3 - Your concerns are absolutely plausible, and as sad it is to agree with you, I do hope they take careful consideration molding together a well-written story.
