While her role in Spider-Man: Homecoming wasn't exactly a major one, Zendaya really managed to leave her mark on the movie (in more ways than one) as she made the most of her screentime in a scene-stealing performance as "Michelle" that fans are looking forward to seeing more of in the 2019 sequel, although that may have more to do with her recently revealed nickname: "MJ."

With Homecoming expected out on Digital HD at the end of the month, followed by a Blu-ray release on October 17, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has released a second behind-the-scenes featurette clip, giving us a look at how the former Disney Channel star landed the biggest role of her career. We also get a sneak peek at her first audition for Marvel Studios.

Her lines were trying too hard to be 'weird', her performance was hit and miss for me in the limited time she had. I dont expect them to stick with her as MJ in the next movie, could easily see her as a distraction or set-up for a joke in future.

Such as Aunt May wanting to introduce Peter to someone called Mary, Peter breaking up with Michelle and having Aunt May say at the end of the movie 'MJ is here to see you' only for him to open the door and it to be Mary Jane instead.

"My friends call me MJ". Those 5 words are gonna haunt me for the rest of my life.

I love Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane in the 60s comics so god damn much it hurts to see this kind of sh*t happens. Kevin Feige and the gang truly f*cked up on this one.
