SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Unused Concept Art Reveals Which Other AVENGERS Almost Appeared In The Movie

An early draft of the Spider-Man: Homecoming script featured more than just The Armored Avenger, and some recently revealed concept artwork confirms which other characters were originally going to appear.

We had already heard that Iron Man was originally going to be joined by another couple of Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and the unused concept art below confirms which characters almost made an appearance in the reboot.

As you can see, at one point both War Machine and Vision were going to help Stark rescue the people on the Staten Island Ferry after Spidey inadvertently split it in two. We'd previously been led to believe that these guys were only present in a very early draft of the script, but the fact that they made it to the concept design stage seems to suggest that they were included in a more recent version of the film.

Tell us, would you liked to have seen Rhodey and Vision pop up in Spider-Man: Homecoming, or was Iron Man more than enough? Sound off below.

that would come out of nowhere and the complaints of homecoming being Iron Man 4 would turn into Avengers 2.1 complaints

If these two guys had as much time as Stark did on screen, I see no problem with that.

Actually would've made more sense if the whole team came, but the incident was enough for Tony to take care on his own. No need for Vision and Rhodey.

I wouldn't have minded had they popped in and out.

@BlackBeltJones - the quinjet being in use was enough for me, there comes a point where just like in comics we can't try to think logically that because certain heroes exist in the universe that they have to be omnipresent in dangerous situations for the main character

I kinda like the idea of all the avengers showing up to save him, but i was thinking more like after he already saves the day like how the police always come too late in a horror movie lol or how the entire justice league showed up in young justice (in i think the first episode). But right now the avengers is just three people so kinda meh when u think about it.
