One of Spider-Man: Homecoming's best moments is undoubtedly its final scene. After Tony Stark returns his suit to him, Peter Parker tries it on in his bedroom in one of those typical comic book movie "hero" moments. However, it's then we see Aunt May in the background, a major status quo change for the franchise as the next instalment is going to tackle her knowing her nephew is Spider-Man.
Upon seeing Peter, May exclaims "What the f**k?!" though the last two letters are obviously cut off. In a new interview with Cinema Blend, actress Marisa Tomei talked about the process of shooting that.
"I think I said the whole word," she explained, "and then they had to fine tune and fine tune." It sounds like some work had to be put in to ensure that we didn't hear the whole world, something which could have hurt Spider-Man: Homecoming's PG-13 rating with the MPAA. This is also different to how Chris Evans' "Avengers Assemble" line was handled in Avengers: Age of Ultron as he stopped at "Avengers A-" to ensure Disney wouldn't change their minds and have him say the whole thing.
