Trailer Battle - SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Vs. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Vol. 2 Vs. LOGAN

Trailer Battle - SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Vs. GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Vol. 2 Vs. LOGAN

Over the last few weeks we've had teaser trailers for 3 of 2017's most highly anticipated comic book movies. All seemed to go down pretty well (for the most part), but which one did you guys like best?

We've actually had quite a few trailers released recently, but it was the new/first looks at 3 of next year's biggest comic book flicks that caused the biggest commotions here on CBM.

First out of the gate was 20th Century Fox and James Mangold's Logan, which delivered a brilliant, but melancholy teaser set to the strains of Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt." Then, James Gunn provided fans with a welcome return glimpse into the lives of Star Lord and his band of intergalactic A-holes with an awesome new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. And finally, we had the very first teaser (well, we actually got 2, but we're sticking with the domestic one) for Marvel and Sony's Spider-Man: Homecoming, which featured our first look at Michael Keaton's Vulture in action, and, of course, those much-discussed web-wings.

A few nitpicks aside, the majority of you guys seemed to be very happy with all of the above - but which one did its job best in terms of building excitement for the movie? Have another watch of each, cast your vote, and be sure to sound off in the comments.

Logan was the best. Spider-Man and GotG might be better movies, but their trailers weren't as good.

@Invictor - Man, I really loved that film as a kid. I remember being in Universal Studios and they were doing the Make-up Monster Movie Show and you got to see some of the props for the film up close. I loved the Dracula vs. Werewolf fight at the end.

@TheRationalNerd - Old memories man. I say the only reason why I like this movie is due to nostalgia.

I think Logan was the best too.. then GOTG. Spidey was... okay.

@RorMachine - Gotg was way better to me. The "it didn't look like a comic book movie" argument about Logan is actually a bad thing to me.

I have to say that the Logan trailer was the most effective but am hopeful that the movie is as great as the trailer looks.
That's not to say that I didn't like the Homecoming and GOTG2 trailers.

I have been fooled by a trailer before as I remember how great Terminator Salvation looked, only to be really disappointed by the movie.
