Eighty-year old film veteran Cliff Robertson says his character of Uncle Ben will return in Spider-Man 3. The character, shot dead in the first film by a carjacker, appeared in a dream sequence in Spider-Man 2.

Robertson told The Palm Beach Post "I just got a call that they were going to bring my character back to life again." His part will be filmed in May but Robertson wouldn't reveal any more details about his re-appearance or the movie other than to confirm the return of actors Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst.
