Spider-Man faced off against the most dangerous foe yet in Season 2 of
Marvel’s Spider-Man when he went toe-to-toe with Venom in last week’s episode. The showdown ultimately ended in a cliffhanger as Venom chose to flee when Miles Morales joined in, but not before he teased that the
“fun has just begun.”
The fun will continue in tonight’s episode
“Venom Returns,” and things are about to get much more personal. With Eddie Brock knowing Parker’s secret identity, he targets those closest to him. In a newly released sneak peek clip of tonight’s episode, we see Spider-Man swinging into a trap set by Venom, who has captured some of Parker’s closest family and friends - including Aunt May, Gwen, Anya, Max, and even J. Jonah Jameson, Parker’s boss at the Daily Bugle.
“Venom Returns” looks to be a solid continuation of the Spidey/Venom storyline and the best part is we don’t have to wait long to see how it ends. Will Spider-Man be able to save his loved ones and defeat Venom? We’ll find out tonight as
