Photographer Deanna Tickle has snapped some shots of Henry Cavill filming at a Plano fire station and posted them on The Man Of Steel Facebook Page. The photographs while not significant do show that Cavill does not appear to be wearing the Clark Kent traditional glasses.

What do you guys think is Zack Snyder taking the Smallville route and not putting his teenage/young adult Clark Kent in his glasses? Do you approve of a young Clark not wearing glasses or do you feel he should be wearing them at all time? Sound off in the usual places below.

Man Of Steel stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Julia Ormond, Russell Crowe, Laurence Fishburne with Christopher Meloni, Harry Lennix, and will be released on June 14, 2013.

Young Clark in the Reeve films didn't have glasses either, but when he grew up he was a different person (literally). I guess he doesn't need to hide his identity until he has become Superman.

Or they realized that glasses don't do a damn thing. Any person with half a brain would realize glasses don't even come close to a credible disguise...

@Canon108: that may be true but its still what Kal does to try and conceal his identity. Ridiculous as it may be.

He's probably just a young Clark in Smallville and not the mild-mannered, bespectacled reporter from Metropolis.

Is Clark a lumber jack in this movie? Well at least its not the same old suit and tie, dorky Clark, or so it would appear.

@MarkV

Dude, the muscles are REAL. The texture of the material was used to bring out more of the physique Cavill spent months building so that he could look like the real thing.

Btw,does anyone else notice that Clark has a street named after him. Clark's on Clark st. lol.

I'd like to see the glasses, I know it's weak but it's something.

But could that really be a young Clark Kent? He looks the same age as Superman to me. Which would be awesome cause I don't want another long origin.

I was hoping for just flashbacks or opening credits and it seems like that might be what we're getting. Like have they even cast a younger Clark? I don't think so.

So from everything so far, it seems like he's around 25 or whatever and not sure what he's going to do with his life. Then Zod comes to town and kicks ass, Clark finds out who he is and where he came from (maybe even from Zod, with Krypton and Jor-El flashbacks) and he becomes Superman.

Sounds pretty awesome.
