There has to be at least a slim chance that Henry Cavill will appear at Comic-Con this weekend to make Man of Steel 2 official, especially as comic book fans have made it clear to Warner Bros. that they're anxious to see more of Superman on the big screen. We've been waiting since the first movie was released in 2013 for another instalment and Henry Cavill has a lot of big ideas about the sequel.
As if right now, it has neither a writer nor director but who knows what's happening behind the scenes at Warner Bros. Regardless, the Mission: Impossible - Fallout star knows he wants as the lead villain!
"I think a great villain would be Brainiac, that'd be a good villain to play against," he revealed before elaborating on why he thinks he would be a good pick for Man of Steel 2. "Brainiac's a big threat. There's a lot of fun. There's a lot of storylines to him." There's no denying that and it's fair to say that the big screen potential of the character is huge.
