Since behind the scenes images revealed him, the mysterious character in a Motion Performance Suit, nicknamed "Mo-Cap Man" by fans has captured our interest and has fueled many theories as to who he could be. Some say he's a robot, some even went as far as to speculate he was Braniac or Lex Luthor in battle armor. A friend of mine sent me a link to the entire screen caps of the upcoming book "Man Of Steel: Inside The Legendary World Of Superman and it appears the character has been right under our noses the whole time. He's a screen grab that describes who the 9 foot tall powerhouse is.
The book reveals that it's none other than Nam-Ek
Also in the same screen shot, the character of Jax-Ur is touched upon which leads me to theorize that he might also be the creator of the Knowledge collecting Braniac since he is characterized as a scientist who "hungers for knowledge whatever the cost" It isn't far fetched for him to create an AI humanoid who's sole purpose to attain all knowledge. This is just my personal theory though.
And lastly, here's another image from the book which is found in the closing pages with what looks to be the famous Yellow house of El crest adorning the Superman's Cape!
