A user over on the SuperHeroHype Forums claims to know how the final moments of Director Zack Snyder's Man of Steel pans out.

"Clark will only be working at the Daily Planet for the final few minutes. His evolution of the course of the film is finding his place in the world. After he defeats Zod he has found his place, as Earth's savior. Then Lois asks that question "What are you going to do when your not saving the world?" Which is why he goes to work at the Daily Planet. There is a Classic Nolan montage scene of where all the characters are at interlocking with Clark on his way to the Daily Planet on his bike. The scene ends with Clark walking through the lobby and then putting his glasses on. As somebody walks past the screen it fades to BLACK. ROLL CREDITS."

Sounds about right to me from what I know of the film (Which is a lot!)

But when the nefarious General Zodd (Michael Shannon) arrives on Earth, Clark will have to choose between being a normal human or Kal-el,son of Jor-El (Russell Crowe) and humanity's greatest protector and champion. I'd like a cameo at the end, but that doesn't seem to fit in this origin story.

I can definitely see it ending this way.Explains the lack of reporter Clark in the trailers and such.

"...montage scene of where all the characters are at interlocking with Clark..."

I was not expecting an orgy at the end.

"...on his way to the Daily Planet on his bike."

That's a good way to get yourself hurt.

Sounds like a perfect way to end a Superman movie. Now, gimmie an end credits scene so we get a DC Cinematic Universe

So the end scene was shown in the Comic Con Footage? Hmmm. I'm actually glad it's not the cliche running at the screen unbuttoning his shirt type of thing.

I figured they woulda done what Neo did at the end of the Matrix. Just pan out to the atmosphere and Woosh! He flys past.

Forget how the film ends, this how Superman himself will be ENDED should he happen to challenge Wolverine:

He would then shove Superman's carcass into a Kryptonite pool, just for kicks because that's how he roles. What?

Yes, I posted this again, because the other thread was too old to notice this and I wanted to make sure you understood how weak your alien lord was. Muwhahah.

I kid, of course, but still.

It's only speculation and the guy who posted that was hurt because nobody paid much attention to him so it could be he is the author of this article, lol.

And no, that wont be the final scene. We'll be seeing actual glasses Clark interacting with the DP staff ;)

This scene was in SDCC footage last year. It seems to be real and it is very similar to Earth One's finale!

Sounds cool but I can't imagine how Lois won't recognize him after seeing him first as Superman.

It worked with the originals because he showed up first and met Lois as nerdy Clark before she even knew of Superman.

@JaySin420- it looks like Lois will know his secret early on and there's been rumours that she suggests the glasses as a disguise.

not a spoiler, Ive been telling everyone thats exactly how the movie is going to end. Especially after seeing the soundtrack with the track "What are you going to do when you're not saving the world" lol. Combined with the fact that i kept telling people Jimmy isn't in the movie bc i dont think clark works for the DP until the very very end, so the core crew will be established in part 2.

BTW who did the wolvie vs supes artwork, someone on the boards or pro? Thats fantastic work, i used to be a comic book illustrator in my early 20's, fantastic line work. Very similar to my style (I was hugely influenced by Joe Mad, Ed McGuiness, Humberto Ramos, and Mike Wieringo. All when i got a little older, and def influenced by Dan Jurgens, Tom Grummet, Jerry Ordway, Jon Bogdanove, John Bryne, George Perez, and Neal Adams. When i was very young)

I gotta find some of my stuff, ill post it up here.

Michael Turner and Marc Silvestri were also huge huge influences, so sad that Michael Turner died, I was ecstatic that he did work on Superman close to the end of his life, when i first read his stuff in Witchblade and then in (The superb) Fathom, I had always wished DC had tapped him for Superman. I remembered when i met him at an artists convention and I was bullshitting with him about comics and movies, and we both said Superman was our favorite, he actually said his favorite comic book story ever was 90% of the first Superman movie, the 10% gets subtracted because he told me he despised the whole turning back the world thing.
