Wow! Best one I've seen yet! It's like the original, only slightly modified. Plus, it's not too over-the-top. I can totally see this on the big screen. Great job!

i like it. gives it an upgrade but keeps the classic design and color scheme. kudos for keeping the underpants!

Amazing. I'm normally totally against changing the classic design of the suit but this looks like the perfect modernized version of the Superman suit. Great job!

Just take a quick look at the Dean Cain version of the suit and go from there.

@Knightstalker- Very true, Cain had the best live-action Superman suit.

@frogsplash46- Veeeery nice!!! This is the best and most realistic design for the Snyder-reboot yet!

@ Ribbonz Yer joking about the Stupid curl right?

Looks fine aside from the Briefs

But its not a modern update at all.. If you squint or look at it from 10 feet away it looks like a 1985 comic suit

I think the only thing they have to do to update the suit is make it look more homemade. It should look like Martha Kent had sewn it together and the seams on this pic are a good idea of how that should look.Good job man!

i also like the cape and how it drapes over the shoulders. kinda like the all star superman version of the costume

@ Bubba27

Martha Kent doesn’t sit up all night every night sewing superman costumes. She might make him one or two, but Superman tears up a lot of suits. Will he even be wearing a home made suit in this movie?

Or will he be wearing a suit made by machines in the fortress of solitude that use tech 10,000 years more advanced than earth.

@LordHuck

There was an article last summer(can't remember where) that quoted David Goyer as saying that the story would be more believable based more in line with John Byrne's version of Superman and if you remember Martha did make the costume. That and the recent comments by Snyder when talking about the casting of Diane Lane and the importance of Martha's influence lead me to believe that's the direction they are leaning towards.Besides on Lois&Clark Martha made multiple costumes.

The suit here is perfection at its best. I like that it looks like the traditional suit, making it look more Earth instead of Krypton. Synder hopefully will know what he's doing when putting this on screen. The only thing that bothers me is that black outlining on the shield. It would look even better with the yellow/gold outline from the Earth One series.

@lord huck, I like the colours, but the s shield should be bigger, the belt shouldn't have the logo, the collar doesn't work for Superman, and while I like the 2 tone blue design on the body suit, its too blue toward the mid section, the red underwear helps to break it apart and distribute the colours more evenly.

I guess for my money what I am trying to say is.

The superman costume on the pages of the comics and while animated looks fine. Good even…Although truth be told I would prefer he lost the briefs in the comic too..

Any and every actor that has put on a superman suit in a live action project has looked like a dork to me. Almost on the same level as the Adam West Batman suit.

Bottom line at least for me is

Traditional Superman suit in Comics/Animation = Fine

Traditional Superman suit in Live action = Actor looking like a silly Jackass

This is awesome. Now i'm gonna be upset if the movie verion isn't like this!

It's perfect, somebody needs to get this to Zack Snyder

Not bad, LordHuck. It's pretty good. Not too happy about the collar, thought. And he needs the briefs. I know some hate it, but he needs the briefs!

Lots of People are rigid costume traditionalists but half of those people would also look you dead in the eye and tell you that this looks good, and that they would like to see it on the big screen.

And if you’re one of those people…I don’t think we could ever see eye to eye
