I wish it out grossed that other superhero reboot from last year that I thought was TERRIBLE.

Oh well, still it's the superior film unlike the guy who's comic series has superior in the title and it's anything BUT. :P

Man of Steel was amazing in it own ways. It's your own fault if you went in expecting to see another Reeve-type Superman movie. Stop hating and accept the fact that this movie, despite its flaws and mistakes, was still a blockbuster and was awesome. Like seriously.

movie of the summer, it was an alien origin/first contact story rather than a 'superman' film. Despite some pacing issues I really liked it, had that sense of awe and wonder that many of the best sci-fi's had

Man of Steel was fantastic! Marvelites are the first ones to say RT doesn't matter in a marvel article when people say TDK is still the highest rated CBM Ever. Hypocrites.

I just don't understand why people go by what critics say?

Go out and see the film for yourself and "YOU" be the judge of what "YOU" thought. Now I know there's a lot of people out there who didn't really care too much for the film but it kills me when people copy what other people said...

For Example:

Man of Steel: "Yeah there was way too much action and the characters were watered down."

The Wolverine: "It was good...until the 3rd act."

Like seriously? That wolverine "3rd act" phrase is just so overused its ridiculous. No one started saying it until after that lame guy's tweet was posted here before the the film was released. So people went in thinking that the 3rd act was bad. I enjoyed it to the fullest and the action was GREAT! Could the ninja fight have been a bit better? "Yes." But everything else was great no complaints at all.

As for Man of Steel, the emotions and everything were good. Lawrence Fishbourne (think that's how you spell it) played his part well. Cavil was great, you could sense that he was learning how to control, himself through all these years and when a "real threat" actually came that required him to unleash all this strength he's had in himself borough out all these years he went all out with it! Zod was a villain who actually had a reason for what he was fighting for! He actually wanted to rebuild krypton (and of course have his personal plans later) but you felt great emotions from both characters and must I even mention that opening scene?????? It was very action and emotionally packed!

@ABH1979

People who do use RT and box office don't like the movies as much as they claim when they do that, IMO.

I don't care for MOS but I don't think it's necessarily as bad as everyone acts. It's just one of those things everybody loves to hate kind of things, kind of like The Lone Ranger and even the Star Wars prequels.

Isn't Japan a HUGE market??

The DVDs will be releasing over here in the states soon, I hope that doesn't affect the box office numbers in Japan.

MOS will easily break the $800MM mark over there. They are gonna LOVE it!

Watch Henry be like the next Michael Jackson over there! lol

@Grif, that post was awesome. MOS was so "awesome" that it couldn't even pass TASM global box office total. It's a good thing Batman is coming to help him out in that department.
