Introduction
I've been rewatching Man of Steel recently, and, I have to say, I was dissapointed. It's not by any means a bad movie, it's just a different version of Superman than the one most people identify with. It was Zack Snyder's idea of a good superman movie. So, if Zack can be allowed to spend millions on his idea of the perfect superman, I can sit down write mine on the internet even though I know the comments section will tear me apart for it.
The title

Characters
Superman:
Born on Krypton, raised on earth. An optimistic farmboy who will overcome his doubts and become a symbol of hope to the world.
Lex Luthor: An arrogant and crooked buisness man born into wealth. He has never been brought down to earth and will destroy anyone who crosses him. Has to be the most powerful man in the room at all times.
Bizzaro: A Frankenstein esqe creature who believes he is Superman and has no idea why the things around him are happening. When hediscovers the truth he goes into a murderous rage.
Lois Lane:Lois Lane is a pullitzer winning journalist for the daily planet who initially dislikes clark but later becomes romanticly involved with him.
Plot
A shot of the planet earth. A meteor passes the camera movieng towards earth. Cut to a pickup truck driving down the road in a field in Smallville, Kansas. Inside are Johnathan and Martha Kent. They are talking about whether or not they should adopt. It is hinted Martha is barren. Suddenly the meteor crashes on the side of the road. The truck swerves and John pulls over onto the side of the road. Martha gets out and goes to investigate. John follows through the corn and finds Martha next to a rocket, holding a baby.
Fast Forward 15 years
Clark Kent is the 16 year old sun of the Kents. He is in high school. In gym class he is being made fun of for being the slowest runner in class. The class is about to play football and in his anger he begins to show his hidden abilities. He singlehandedly wins the game for his team. The coach suggests he tryout for the schools football team. Cut to Clark running home at superspeed, than cut to Clark helping Johnathan pull an old tree out of a field they are about plant in. Clark pulls out the tree singlehandedly. Johnathan comments Clark is getting stronger. Clark brings up the football team. Johnathan doesn't think it's a good idea. He tells Clark that he should use his powers to help people, not to become more popular. Clark asks why he can't be like eveyone else. They arrive at the farm house and Johnathan asks Clark to pull up the floor boards as he tells him the story of how they found him. Clark realizes his destiny.
Fast Forward to Clarks Graduation
The graduation is shown and him hugging his mother Martha. She gives him a blue box with red ribbon as a gift. Later in town at a resturaunt Clark talks to his friends Pete Ross and Lana Lang. They talk about what they are doing after high school and Clark says he wants to move to Metropolis and be a reporter.It becomes obvious Clark actually plans to use his powers to help people and use the job to be kept in the loop about whats going on. Suddenly Clark heres something. He excuses himself and runs into an alley than uses super spead to get back to the Kent farm.
Clark finds Pa Kent laying facedown and Martha runs up behind him. Next scene is the funeral, taking place in the kent house. Clark comments to his mother that even with all his powers he couldn't save him. He gives her back the blue and red box and walks away. He looks up at the sky and flies into the air. Cut to him floating over earth. Hiss eyes are closed and he is listening to everyone on earth who needs help. He then cuts out all the noise and floats down. He can't save everyone, why should he try?
At this point we introduce lex luthor with the comicbook scene where lex luthor offers to give a waitress a million dollars if she stays with him for a month and gives her 10 minutes to decide as he waits in his limo. He than drives away immediatly.
It's been several weeks, Clark wanders the streets of Metropolis unsure of himself and his place in the world. He is in jeans and a red hoodie. It's night. He passes a SECOND HAND CLOTHES STORE. A car comes up to the store and several men climb out and enter the store. Clark's x-ray vision notices a gun on one of them. The men begin looking through the store. One of them walks towards the cashier. Suddenly a red and blue blur zooms in and each of the robbers is taken out. The next day Clark wakes up in the motel he is staying at in metropolis he gets up and gets the paper from his door. On the front page is an article about the failed robbery and the mysterious red and blue blur that prevented it. He smiles. It showes the Kent farm. A blur runs into the house and quickly runs out. The next part of the movie will involve reporter Lois Lane and photographer Jimmy Olsen investigating the mysterious Superman who has been saving people around the world, mostly in the city of Metropolis. She is unable to find any information on Superman. She returns to the Daily Planet after a day of just barely missing Superman to find that a new reporter, Clark Kent has managed to get an interview with Superman about who he is, where he came from, and why he helps people.
Clark as Superman continues to help people in the Superman costume made by Martha.
Clark is notified by Perry White that a terrorist group called Intergang has taken a building of people hostage. Clark gets into costume and begins taking out the criminals one by one. Intergang uses high tech weapons and armor but are no match for Superman. He has to be secretive though to avoid getting the hostages killed. After he defeates the gangsters and brings them to the authorities. He asks how they got the wepons to the police who claim not to know. He can hear their heartbeat and they seem to be lying. Later Clark talks to Lois, who assumes he wants to steal a story from her. He convinces her to tell him her opinion on where intergang got the weapons and she believes that the weapons are from Luthorcorp. Clark leaves and investigates Luthors factories in secret. He finds evidence Luthorcorp designed the weapons. Superman immediatly goes to Luthor( who is very cocky and arrogant) and drags him to prison. After investigation by police Lex is let out within 24 hours due to lack of evidence. Superman tells Lex he will get him next time and Lex swears revenge . Lex later meets with a General at the pentagon. It's revealed that the government fears Superman due to his power. Lex explains to the general he has met Superman and describes him as an inhuman, unfeeling monster that needs to be stopped, alternating with the scene from all star superman when superman stops a girl from commiting suicide.
Lex reveals he has a piece of Supermans hair that fell out when they met in Lex's office. He claims he may be able to create a superman clone that would obey the government if he was given time and recources. The general believes Luthor and agrees. Meanwhile Lois has missed her train home and is see's Clark on the subway. They bond and show some romantic chemistry. The next day Jimmy is able to get a picture of Superman. It's the first clear picture of him ever. Lois looks at it and jokes to Clark he looks a bit like Superman. Luthor is in a government lab working on creating a superman clone but all of them end up decaying and dying. They begin the next test and are sugssessful. The clone is put on ice Immediatly and they prepare to implant subbliminal messages into its mind. The clone is in a slightly darker superman suit. When they are about to implant the messages a government scientist discovers it has memories and is not a blank slate. Their is an action scene when the clone escapes and soldiers try and fail to kill it as it breaks out of the facility. It grows more powerful everytime it's exposed to light. Cut to Lois getting ready for bed when "Superman" shows up and takes her on a romantic ride.
She is happy and excited until she sees his features begin to crack. Clark is walking down below and heres her scream. He uses his Supervision to spot her and the clone. He flies up to save her and their is a midair battle as Superman continueally tries to save the falling Lois. Superman gets lois to safety as the clones mind breaks down the same way its skin is.
The government tries to find the clone and gets news its in Metropolis fighting Superman. Lex is yelling that they can still get it back alive. The clones brain degenerates while fighting Superman and it begins trying to "save" people. Their is a scene where the clone tries to knock down a building and superman zooms every one out of the building than holds up the half about to fall to the street. Superman and the clone battle out of the city and through the atmosphere. Superman and Bizzaro fight on the moon. He is losing and about to give up until he sees the earth and is reinvigorated.
Bizzaro the clone flies back to earth trying to get "to the farm" actually Cadmus labs where he was born, several miles outside of metropolis. News helicopters, one of which has lois and jimmy in it. Superman and Bizzaro fight above the compound as the government launches missles at bizzaro and he degenerates some more. Lex tries to convince the general to not aim and shoot at both off them. Superman blocks bizzaros heat vision from hitting the general and his troops and the battle moves into the cloning chamber where bizzaro degenerates and falls apart like rocks. The clone has returned to where it was born to die. The general shuts down the cloning project, Lex Luthor once again swears vengance, Lois and Clark begin dating. Superman continues to protect the world.

Superman will learn more about his past and where he came from. Lex Luthor will return. Brainiac and the city of Kandor will be introduced. Lois and Clark's relationship will be developed. Supergirl will be introduced.
