My idea for a good Superman sequel

Introduction:

I recently wrote my idea for a Superman origin story. I've heard peoples opinions on it and will now tell people my idea for a Superman sequel. I have taken many aspects from the charracters history. I will write the plot below.  Tell me what you think. 



Title: Superman: Last Son of Krypton



Characters: 

Superman: Clark Kent is still dating Lois  Lane and working at the daily planet. As Superman he protects the world  but can't create any permanent change and wishes he could do more. 

Brainiac: A kryptonian supercomputer designed to record and control the environment of the planet Krypton.  He has spent years  searching for the the last Kryptonian. 

Kara Zor-El: Supermans cousin who has lived imprisoned in a bottle city controled by Brainiac since the planet Krypton exploded.

Lex Luthor: Angry over his humiliation by Superman Lex Luthor has sent out a message into space to find others wwho could help him destroy Superman

Plot:

      It's been two years since Superman saved the city of Metropilis from a dark reflection of himself, the creature Bizzaro. He's been haralded as a hero by many and has continued to protect the world. He has refused to work as an agent for any one nation or organization, causeing many governments too distrust him. This movie opens in space. Their has been an accident in a shuttle launch and the shuttle is carreening through earths atmosphere burning up. Superman flies to the shuttle and saftly brings it down to earth in a high spead opening. 
   

      Superman flies  back to Metropolis and changes into street clothes arriving at a Charity Ball with Lois where they are both reporting. The benifit is for rebals fighting against a dictator in a  forein country.   Clark remarks he wishes he could do more for them and Lois comments he could but he would cause an international inciddent. This leads to an argument where Clark tries to convince her he is not Superman. It starts off friendly but becomes more heated. After she breaks up with him because she knows
he's lieing.


      Meinwhile at a private gym Lex Luthor is boxing with a trainer. He appears to be winning than asks the trainer to stop going easy on him. The trainer now lands a punch on Luthor causing him to begin brutally beating the trainer until an aide notifies luthor of something. Lex arrives at a Luthorcorp building. It is explained over a year ago lex sent a message  into space asking for help in defeating the alien Superman. The message has been answered by a being that claims to have been searching for a Kryptonian that matches the description sent by Lex.  Lex sends the creature coordinates to Metropolis where he believes Superman operates out of. Clark visiting Martha Kent on the Kent farm and talks about how he doesn't know what to do and is trying to protect Lois.  He also begins to wish he could control  humanity more and end violence. He is  frustrated.

 

     This will lead to the Brainiac skull ship entering our solar system and having repeated failed attempts by the worlds governments to contact it, eventually leading to a failed missle launch at the ship. The governments of earths nuclear weapons are hacked into and shut down. The president is left with no other choice but to contact Superman and ask for his help.  Despite Superman's friendlyness during the meeting the President is somewhat afraid of him. The ship is just past the moon when  Superman arrives and enters it.  The ship is massive and Superman finds the ships bridge. He is weakened by a green shard. Their he meets the robotic Brainiac. He confronts Brainiac who reveals he has been searching for Superman. He reveals he was an ai from the planet superman came from, Krypton. Brainiac was designed to moniter life and control  the environment, law enforcement, and many other aspects of life on Krypton. When a war began on Krypton brainiac decided that Kryptonian life was too messy and he could better complete his misssion with a smaller surface area and complete control. He poisoned Kryptons core and miniturized a city on Krypton to take for himself. He than left the planet as it's core released radiation and died. 

      Braniac reveals what the green rocks are pieces of irradiated Kryptonian core being usedd to weaken Superman so brainiac can add him to his habitat for the last Kryptonians. He also reveals he is going to continue his mission to document all life with earth.Superman is shrunk by Brainiac and dropped into the Kryptonian city Kandor, shrunken and put into a habitat controlled by Brainiac drones and lighted by a miniture red sun.  He stays on Kandor for a while and meets his orphen cousin Kara Zor-El, who is a member of a secret rebellion against the robots that control the city. The secret rebellion is lead by a Kryptonian war vetaran named General Zod. The Kryptonians  reveal that once a month food is telaported in and damaged robots are telaported out to be repared. Superman convinces the rebals to make a run  for the telaporter when this happens and over take the ship. 

      At this time Brainiac  has accessed into the internet and downloads all information. He than enters earths atmospere and begins to decend on Metropolis. Luthor realizes he was tricked.During the battle with the brainiac drones only Superman and Kara are  able to get out and be returned to full size. Robots rain down on metropollis and Superman sends Kara out of the ship where she absorbs sunlight. She fights the robots as Superman deals with brainiac. This battle will lead to Brainiac attempting to kill Superman with kryptonite, causing Superman to launch himself and brainiac out of the ship and into a swamp. Brainiac is confused and  Superman explains that Brainiac failed in his mission because  Krypton is not real life that is. Due to his first time in years being out of the ship Brainiacs main robotic body breaks down and explodes.  Superman realizes real life is  complicated and messy and he shouldn't try to control things so much.  Brainiac's ship explodes and Superman returns to help Kara carry the ship out from above metropolis and into the ocean. Kara saves the city of Kandor but the anti shrinking ray is destroyed. 




   Kara ends up living at the Kent farm.  Luthor is arrested. Clark keeps the city of Kandor in a secret location in  antartica he has built.  Superman gets a medal from the President. Superman reveals he is Superman to Lois and proposes to her. 

Epilogue:

    My plan for a sequal will involve Zod as a villain, Luthorcorp and the government investigating Brainiacs technology, and New Krypton.
