On Returning To Smallville For The Final Season:

"I was happy to go back. It had been almost two years. I went back in Season 8 for an episode. It was nice to go back and I'm glad they came up with a storyline that kind of explains where she was for a year and a half. She does come back for a reason. She's teaching Clark an important lesson in this episode that he will or won't fail."

On Whether It Was Hard To Return To The Role Of Kara Kent:

It wasn't hard to get back into Kara. It's like a family over there at Smallville and you get into it pretty quickly. But it did take awhile for me to remember who she was and where she came from. And she's actually a lot more mature in this episode than we've ever seen her. It's good. She's stronger."

On What We Can Expect To See From Her Character In Season 10:

"Kara has the superpowers and is very defiant and has her own opinions. Kara comes back and is kind of talking down to Clark a little bit, teaching him. You know, 'You're so behind in your lessons. You can't fly. You can't do this. Your father gave me this directive and he doesn't want you involved. We don't think you can handle it.'"

On The Future Of Supergirl In Smallville:

"It's not necessarily a wrap up. The storyline is left open ended. Kara doesn't necessarily leave, but I don't know if she's returning to the show. She's staying in Metropolis, but I'm not sure if you're going to see me again after that episode."

Laura makes a great "Supergirl"' and I hope that we either get to see more of her during the final season of "Smallville" or that they start a new "Supergirl" series...

That will allow Welling to be the "guest star"...(as "Superman" in full costume)

@ joshw

bit of a piss take, this show is.

1.supergirl before superman

2.she got secret identity clark hasn't

3.supergirl's a supporting charactor & she flying before the main charactor of the show.

4.why can't she have that shit hot costume like whats in the picture to this article.

they should do a supergirl spin off show featuring the likes of zatanna, powergirl, wonder woman, black canary & so on.

keep it faithful to the comic with decent storylines & proper costume.

you'll be on to a winner.

Sad, I agree with deadpool72 oh most points here.
It is wrong for Kara to talk down to Clark, he should superslap that bitch.
It's wrong that has has the secret identity before Clark.
It's wrong that she has a costume before Clark.

deadpool/LEE: I agree guys - this is just one of the things that Smallville has [frick]ed up on. The first couple of episodes of this season have been pretty good though so maybe it'll end being better than it has been the past few years! Either way, it'll always be remembered as a show that never lived up to it's potential IMO. :)

It is funny how Clark knows that his cousin has all of the exact same powers as him except she can fly.

[Clark: Man - I am soooo jealous of her right now. She can fly and I can't. ]

[Clark: Since we are from the same planet maybe I can fly too!]

[Clark: No that is just cray talk Clark.]

lolol

1.so what?

2.they both have a secret identity.

3.so what?

4.she does have a hot costume.

I would write her off by sending her with the Legion of Superheros.
