i love smallville, but these possessed character plots do my nut in,they should be making episodes that have something to do with the SEASON plot and stick to that

I am a huge Smallville fan. I have season 1-9. However, Lois being possessed is way over done. I agree with Smallvillefanricky stick with the plot and do something unique. They do possession every season.

Why is it you who consider yourself "fans" of the show do not understand the concepts or reasoning behind why they do certain things?

In season 7, Lana was living with Clark and yet had a distant relationship from one another because she never could truly understand him and his powers because she never experienced it firsthand. When she absorbed his powers from the lightning storm, it changed her perspective.

With Lois now having been possessed by Isis, it's giving her the answers she has been asking herself these past couple epiodes. "What does Clark go through having all that power?" "How does he heal, etc." She gets better understanding of him so she can help push him further into using them for the benefit of everyone. To become Superman.

Rayne457 - 10/11/2010, 7:14 PM
Yes, I see your point Hellebus. However, the episodes where the characters were possessed the character didn't remember any of it afterward. So, she would have to remember this experience for your theory to work.

Every Krpytonian along with the M.Manhunter
has the ability to fly, but Clark still
hasnt learned...come on !! Put him in the
air already Lois is going to have her powers
from ISIS and probally fly within the
first 30minutes of the show.

I've got to remeber this isnt SUPERMAN, but a alternate
version of the character we know and love.

In this universe the writers at the CW\WB has created
Jimmy Olsen and Cat Grant might fly before Clark...

I WOULDNT BE SURPRISED!!

OMG, I'm sooooo disappointed with this Isis costume. Ugh. Why does Smallville have to water down these costumes.

Calm down guys. I heard he may have to fly after Lois in this episode, so its not all a loss. Of coarse i did hear about it online, so it's not exactly reliable :S lol

LMAO!!!

This shows you why CW is weak.... seriously not even good, let alone epic, I'm real pi$$ed off really coz I try to be a fan but its always a let down! : (

What makes me laugh is LOIS gets a COSTUME and (probably) flies B4 CLARK does!! Hahahahahaha

(told you)

Even FAN MOVIES are a million times better!

But seriously, I seem to remember a Superboy comic
book from my childhood where Clark could fly just
about in kindergarten and he could lift trucks when
he was a baby and had the "tights" suit his mom made
him outta his Kryptonian baby blankets!

Whatever happened to that stuff and that Superboy???

No tights, no flights my ass!

This is feeling extremely lame...here we go with
filler in the last season! They can't waste episodes
like this! There's too few episodes left to be screwing around!

See, this is why Smallville will/has never taken steps to becoming a consistently good or great tv show. Any good work they do is undone by this lazy bullshit. I don't know if they switch writers, or give the good ones a day off every few weeks or what. But a rubbish body possession filler story in their final season is just bullshit.

BLADE4040 - 10/12/2010, 7:09 AM
WATERVILLE at it's finest!!! Someone mentioned
he might fly after Lois in this episode. I doubt
that probally more like a Super DIVE and THEN he falls
short...LAME!!
BLADE4040
BLADE4040 - 10/12/2010, 7:23 AM
LEEE: Your right about these FANMADE FILMS these guys
making these films dont work with any kinda of budget
and put out better stuff than WATERVILLE. I've watch WATERVILLE faithfully trying to be a fan also but I've
watched them butcher one character after another.

I've even tried to go with the whole alternate universe
but even in those storylines the character is somewhat
the same. I dont know why these writers dont pick someone a writers from the actual comicbook, comicbook shop owner/website fans/knowledgable fan on the street
and pick their brains to find out what does the typical fan want to see.

Example Superman v.s. Doomsday,a Namor flick,JLA,CAGE,PANTHER,BATMAN v.s.Superman etc...
How hard is it?

If they're going to butcher Blue Beetle and Wonder Woman
the same as they did Waterville I say dont even bother!

Ahhh yess! The possessed concept.

Its the main reason I lost my interest on Smallville! (That's waaaay back Lana Lang got possessed).

Possesion....again ?
Well, hopefully not as ridiculus like when Lana became an college-sisterhood-house "vampire".
That truly was an all time low for the show.

I agree with most of you. The possession thing is nearly as overdone as Clark losing his powers, meteor freaks, the Fortress being destroyed, someone or everyone knowing Clark's secret, Chloe getting powers and losing them, Lana being possessed and or getting powers, and Clark having to face his greatest enemy/threat. I think that covers it. I will still watch, though merely because there's no alternative within the genre.

Funny that some will blast Smallville fans for criticizing aspects of the show (or even episodes) proving that it's not "blind" devotion, yet will generalize that it's a shit show on every [frick]ing Smallville article. I'd say that defines DOUCHE BAG. For the record, I'm not in favor of the Isis possession or Lois' bump-it.
