When really, it's AGE - they need to round the show up now, unless they actually want to make a Superman show. His Dad is dead, he's working at the Planet, the actor playing him is over 30. Why are the acting like they have a choice!?

He's powered by the sun.....his batteries are fully charged after 8 seasons let him fly.

Damn it! I've been saying this for months but no one listens. WB will not allow them the costume, or flying as long as they have a Superman movie slated. Thats the same reason no Batman character is allowed in a non Batman show if there is one in production. They are afraid the public would confuse the continuity of the show and movie, because WB are dicks. They are subject to change their minds, but it is not up to the producers or Welling, he said a while back he'd be ok flying. WB may change their minds but its not likely.

It's true in the comics he was flying in his teens. I gotta believe that they are saving it for the ninth season opener but I won't hold my breath.

LastSon1027 lol!!! Right, down to SMALLVILLE. I say yay, i don't really care if Clark flies or not, we've seen him fly before anyway????? Not a big deal, an as for the costume????? They have always said, since day one that we wont see it till the very end of the last episode????? WTH are people on about???? I personally enjoy SMALLVILLE every week, one of my FAV shows! Yes its not as good in the writing department like it once was an yes you have to take a blind eye to some of the liberty's they take, but all in all i frickin' love this show, look forward to it every week, like HEROES! It's one of the ones i kept up with unlike DEXTER, PRISON BREAK, LOST, BSG, all good show's but you have to follow them an im behind on them all, though getting there with PRISON BREAK, shame its finishing coz that is a very well written show! ; ), an i wont get started on 24 ,im so behind there its not funny lol! Anyway, i think SMALLVILLE is a great show still and love the DC Universe appearances, love 'em!!!! I say yay till season 9! Heck i wouldn't mind a season 10!!! Heh heh! : D p.s. The reason SMALLVILLE is still around is because everybody likes it, its just not a comicbook/sci-fi fan thing, i know alot of people that enjoy this show, i just hope we get a good SPIN OFF or two when this finishes!!! I wrote too much! Heh. I watch SUPERNATURAL its okay but it ain't the greatest! Does need some changes too! How cool would it be if WARNERS put a WILDSTORM character of too in a episode! As its published by WILDSTORM/DC that would be cool!!

I stick to my original Idea...they over played cry baby Clark not wanting a disguise & his whiny butt fear of heights. Do the Deed... fly by accident one episode get use to it and let him use every once in a while like he does most of his powers. All we ever see is some bad guy smacking him into a wall anyway. Begin a revolving series called the Justice Chronicles and use the other characters they'e introduced for story line material and re-introduce Clark for the occasional cameo or once a season story and let the viewers have a rest from the monotony...

Personally, I find this season much more entertaining than the last two. And if they go in the direction the show seems to be taking (more Justice League) then I will be happy.
On the other hand...I HATE name the Red/Blue blur. I cringe every time I hear it. And I am really sad they won't just let Clark fly.
