Welcome to the third episode of Roll Credits, a new podcast with myself, your friendly neighbourhood @RorMachine, and fellow film-fan/critic Sean Connolly (@TheSonicScrew).

The podcast will primarily focus on film and television, but we will occasionally branch out into related media such as video games, comic books, music, and whatever else happens to be in the news, or we feel like rambling on about!

In this episode, we chat about some of the biggest stories of the past week or so, including the release of the controversial Spider-Man: Lotus fan-film, the first stills from Mike Flanagan's latest Netflix series, The Fall of the House of Usher, initial reactions to Blue Beetle, and more.

We also pay tribute to the legendary William Friedkin (The Exorcist, The French Connection), who sadly passed away last week.

Finally, with the recent release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, we thought it'd be fun to rank all seven big-screen TMNT movies.

Have a listen in the player below (even if it's just to make fun or our accents), and any likes, subscribes, follows, shares, or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990).
(Still the best. I know Mutant Mayhem is new and sexy, but nothing stays truer to the spirit of the comic than the first film and it really stands the test of time quite well).

2. TMNT.
(very dated pixar-esque style, rando story, but everything else about it is miles ahead of the rest of the movies on this list).

3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem .
(It's no spider-verse and it's not a good adaptation, but I liked it. Kids seem to dig it too, which is very heartwarming).

4. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III.
(Last on both your lists. You're shocked, I'm shocked, let's move on).

5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014).
(I agree with Mark. It's the better of the two. Out of the Shadows is more honest and gives with the goods for 1987 fans but there's more in the first one for the older comics fans. More restrained and therefore it's more successful in trying to be a real film).

6. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze.
7. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.
(For me these two are tied, because they are both very trashy, studio driven drunken vomits. But Secret of the Ooze gets to be on top, mostly because of nostalgia).
