When was the series ever dark? If they think insistent sex jokes, racist jokes, Shia Lebourf stuttering, stereotypical parody, other crude humour, constant stupidity and unintentionally silliness is dark then I am scared for where this franchise is going next. If Adam Sandler stars as one of the main humans or Transformers, I'm done!

is transformers considered dark? or is he jsut refering to transformers 4? i actually really loved the autobots attitude in the film and optimus seems like a person i can really route for now. he had real motivation and when he killed that guy it was awesome.

I haven't watched these movies since the second. I want these movies to end already. I generally avoid these articles because until I hear it's being rebooted or something like that, I don't care. But I'm only commenting here because, is it just me or does it feel like ever since the second movie, someone involved in the movies says basically the same exact things about the impending sequel? It's like they just tell people what they think they want to hear knowing that none of these movies will be different from the last.

Was the first 4 Tranformers movies dark? The product placement and boring plot distracted me from the darkness.

If we ever do get a War for Cybertron trilogy, I hope Blur studios get to make it. Their trailers were awesome!

I'd love a war for cybertron trilogy which loses all the non-sense that Bay loves or anything from the comics would be cool with me.

This may be a bit of a stretch, but I think GOTG has something to do with this.

what idiots out there went to see it more than once because thats the only way it could make so much money...I went to see it once...but I would be insane to see it the second time

The Transformers movies weren't really dark, just stupid. The first one was pretty good, they just lost it with the last 3. Intro'd Robots but never got into them. Scenes didn't make sense. Didn't care about the characters. And strayed away from the heart of what made the Transformers so beloved.

And I want this for Bumblebee. Sorry!

Peter Cullen is awesome, but I really doubt he knows a damn thing about the movie before he sits down in the recording booth and is handed the script.

TheLurker - 1/10/2015, 9:10 PM
Dark?!? Hmm, the only thing dark about these movies is the nightmares grown men have as their childhoods are raped by Michael Bay's shitastic directing. Is that what you meant by 'dark' Mr Cullen? Is it....
