The third title for the blockbuster franchise has been finally revealed. Transformers:The Dark of the Moon.


On Wednesday, September 29, 2010, a U.S. federal trademark registration number 85140636 was filed for DARK OF THE MOON by Hasbro, Inc. with the description Toys, Games and Playthings; gymnastic and sporting articles not included in other classes; decorations for Christmas trees.

The title had been discovered a couple of days ago, thanks to tie-in book listings.

But a trademark registration makes it that much more confirmed.

I know that it was brought to everyone's attention but this is a confirmation that this will be the title of the movie. Before it was just speculation and rumor

i hope everyone knows that if u're a transformers fan then uk that the villian of this movie delt with the moon. not only that, but this whole films revolves around space. nasa, kennedy space center, and may i continue? think before u speak

i think that the best way for the title to make sense is if they do it where the moon is actually unicron who has been dormant for billions of years. and what we know as the surface of the moon is actually just particles left from meteor impacts and such.

just a thought.

I don't really get it, but the only thing that I can think of id that this is where Shockwave is based and where the Decepticons base ship is.
