THE BOYS Star Aya Cash Doesn't Expect Stormfront To Appear In The Upcoming Third Season

Neo Nazi Stormfront was basically incinerated in the season 2 finale of The Boys, but the character did survive. However, actress Aya Cash says she won't be a part of the upcoming third season...

Season 2 of The Boys introduced a new villain who was arguably even more detestable than Homelander in the form of Aya Cash's Stormfront. The character did survive (just) the carnage of the season finale, but it doesn't sound like the poster girl for white supremacy will factor into season 3.

Stormfront ended up being blasted by Homelander's son Ryan's heat vision and suffering pretty extreme injuries (she's Stumpfront now), but because of her regenerative abilities, many fans expected her to heal-up (to some extent, at least) and return to seek revenge on Billy Butcher and the gang.

Unfortunately, Cash has now cast doubt on her character's comeback.

"I want to know if she'll be back too," Cash told EW. "I'm not there now. I'm on a new Fox show now called This Country. My contract for The Boys was only for a year so, who knows? Maybe they can CGI my face in."

Season 2 of The Boys ended with the death of Billy Butcher's wife and the apparent disbanding of the team. We know they will reunite, however, most likely in attempt to bring down the increasingly psychotic Homelander.

Queen Maeve was able to blackmail her rage-fuelled leader into backing off in the finale, but actor Anthony Starr has already confirmed that he will really let loose in Season 3.

It's also been confirmed that the highly controversial Herogasm comic book arc will be adapted - although we're sure they'll be forced to drop or tone down at least some elements of that story... right?

@BlackBeltJones - Yes. This is what I'm still suspecting down the road. They'll bring her back as some insane cyborg bitch! 😝

I hope to see a new Zack Snyder's Justice League Easter Egg in season 3 or 4. Billy Butcher and Terror in the apocalyptic world of the maniac Homelander xD

@Repian - I just hope the tv show doesn't END on the same note that the comic did.

I get Ennis was going for a lot of shock value, but that ending for Butcher, at least the WAY it happens still doesn't sit well with me.

Doubt she'll be back for more than a very brief appearance. Besides, we also got Soldier Boy to make Homelander feel insecure about himself too next season.

I could totally see her show up in a season finale with burn marks across her face as a cliffhanger.
